I read time to time that people saying it's easy to making hundred-ish coppers at below level 20, but I only get little coppers mainly from doing quests...and barely enough for buying skills and pots. So I would like to know if anyone can give some tips on making money...

P.S. For Copper Lump, I see that it can sell to NPC for 100c, but I would like to know if they are use to anything else...or should I sell to other players instead of NPC.

Thanks.

No. Sell your lumps to NPCs. Every lump you get, sell it to NPCs and pretend that the enemy dropped money instead.

As for making money.... Find the mines, and spend maybe an hour mining copper, you should make around 300 if you don't die.

Other than that, try Forest of Mist. The boars and ratmen don't aggro, but there are a number of herb bushes and mushrooms about the area, that produce medium quality produce, such as Sage, which sells for 20c or so each.

If you're feeling especially brave, it's quite possible to evade mobs in higher level areas, such as Collapsed Prison. Get to one such area with some herbs or trees, and gather there instead. If you can settle in a reasonably high level area like Collapsed Prison, even if you only harvest two or three plant spawns, there's a good chance at a 40c drop, or even a 200 copper drop (Goblin Camp trees are the earliest point for a 200 copper drop - High Quality Sap). You might die, or you might not, but that's the money business for you.

Thanks for your advice, but I think I'd have to pass on the attempt on Collapsed Prison...since I use paper...ah I mean Mage :p

Another option that a lot of people employ is to keep re-making a character and levelling them from about 1-8 or so, just for the fast/easy kills and abundant drops.

Going with a fighter with all +STR is your best bet in such a case. Fast kills, easy to survive, and no downtime. Grind until you run out of stones, then sell all your drops, or put what you want to keep into storage, and start over. You can easily make over a silver per hour this method.

Once you get to around level 30, you'll be able to haul in 10+ silver per hour with ease. Until then, your options are limited.

Here's another couple ideas:

Pick up Potions and Stones as your two production skills. Make elrues (3 of each old dust) and SP potions (2 tough meat, 1 magic crystal) and set up vendor whenever you get a batch of each to sell. I sell SP potions for about 30c a piece, and Elrues for 50c a piece. (Keep in mind that typically certain scrolls sell quicker than the higher level stones, but it's harder to come by some of the materials for the scrolls, which is why, as a beginner, you may be better off with Stone crafting instead)

Run the crap out of king slime KQ. Slime rarely ever leaves you with an empty chest, and a lot of them have jewelry and weapons in them that you can sell for a bit.
