In my opinion they are very nice, they could make great wallpapers with just a few adjustments. That is, if you wanted them to be available for everyone.
1st; remove character names
2nd; retouch with male and female chars
3rd; all characters should be wearing noob gear or complete armour sets of one level.
As I said. They look great.
lastly, you said they were an idea... you didn't explain exactly what your idea was O.o.

character outline off and its totaly perfect :)
