I suck at archer pvp :(

I love the archer class, but unfortunately I suck very badly at archer pvp. Not just badly.. VERY badly. So much that I haven't once killed a character in pvp (that wasn't a ks) and I have around 200 wsp (only level 13ish).

Its pretty bad.. today I 1v1 a rogue (I think) and he was using his FISTS and I lost. (I didn't have near full health.. but it was pretty crappy considering he was doing 1 damage lol)

Any tips at all that could help? I was hoping to find some vids on youtube on archer pvp but couldn't find any :(. I guess I just suck at ranged... idk.

I DONT WANT TO QUIT PLAYING THIS CLASS!! Please help if you can :)

I do much much better on my mage (I can consistently kill people without help, as long as they aren't too good) if that helps any.. I guess I just suck at using arrows.. its not to great that I do 50 damage with my strong attack, and can't figure out how to combo it for sh*t.

Archers can get really annoying in PvP, so I'll try and give you some tips from experience of playing some.
Jump + Strong Attack! Try and make sure you hit the enemy. If they are blocking, don't do this too often or it will result in punishment D<
Spamming Weak Attack! Just use weak attack on the enemy. Great for annoying those Priests and Mages that love to cast 100-400 dmg spells! Don't use it the whole match though.
Grabbingz. As for any class, grabbing is essential. Grab and use Ice Arrow, then follow up with a fire arrow. Make sure your sorta of far away when you use fire arrow, or they could block and attack you.
Blocking too. Try to block upcoming enemy attacks, and quickly use a skill afterwards. As an archer, you have the advantage of the longest ranged skills, so make good use :D Try not to block too much against teamers...I had 2 mages on me and I blocked and...boom 2 firebolts=550 dmg :( I was sad :(
Lastly, Immobilize(once you get it) this is a great skill, and has it's advantages(long ranged) but you gotta be careful. If your fighting a mage with teleport, use this opportunity to RUN instead of attack. He will just teleport away, or towards you and attack with those deadly skills D< The only character that does not have the ability to move/escape from Immobilize is Priest. But they can heal...so...yah lol. Monks are still natural predators to this too, they can barely move while kicking, but watch out for those Counters with Dragon Kick. Just shoot away :D
I hope I helped ya on this, I don't really HAVE an archer(I used to in that Open Beta thing when Party EXP was nerfed like this, but then I deleted to make summoner and yah...quit, came back, exp deceased again. o.o) Good luck :D Maybe you'll get better advice from an actual archer :)

Wow you have no idea how much this helps. Immobilize sounds really cool. I'm about to start up Wind Slayer now :).. I'm feeling some SLAYER now so I think its gonna be good

Common New archer problems and solutions!
Dont stand it one place Holding D
Dont run in a line then try to get a lucky ice shot in
Dont only use strong attack, I mean rlly?
Dont think that just cause your in the air and their blocking on the ground its safe to shoot them.
Dont try to grab Ice them when you have no idea how to fast cast..
Dont Shoot around your enemy its usually good when you shoot at them

And I agree with the tips here, they're all good, but don't be afraid to run and junpshoot. It's an archers trump card; avoiding damage while running but dealing damage at the same time. It's pretty cool. Don't be afraid to be called a runner, your reputation is nothing in a game ;3

And, to explain why NOT to jumpshoot a guarding an enemy who has a long ranged attack is because they can immeadietely use that long ranged skill after blocking your jumshoot, and you're very vulnerable after that jump shoot because you can't immeadietely block after it. So if a Mage did it
with an ice attack, ur pretty much boned. A tip to avoid this scenario is to keep spamming s at the enemy and while spamming the S button, you inch closer to him/her. When you think you're close enough to perform a dash grab, do it and fast cast ice~ Awesome trick I learnt. Be careful to use this trick against pros though, coz they might countergrab ;3

Most archers run keep distance of a Mid/Long-Range .
