Un-Login-able

After I type in my username and password and click on the "Login" button, nothing happens and when i close it a box appears saying, "See the logfile 'C:\Program Files\Outspark\Launcher\outspark.exe.log' for details'" then I can't login. Help, someone? I'm already trying to re-dl the client from GamersHell coz it worked last time, not sure if it will this time. Anyhow I'm wasting precious grinding time by re-downloading the client, that's 1 1/2 hours for all you peeps out there and I was just hoping someone would come along and post a very practical solution. Thanks.

Make note that if you're going to reinstall it, you need to delete all traces of the program from your computer. So, uninstall it, get rid of the folder and if it's on your firewall's allowable programs list, take it off there too.

Singnet does not support the new launcher, which is why your friend (non-singnet) can use the new launcher. The one from Gamershell worked the other time, as it was an old version - .60, the one on the mainpage is .64, which includes the new launcher. This time, they used a 59-79.7z patch, which updates all versions up to .59, all to .79, and this one includes the new launcher. So there is no way around it this time. Unless you switch to starhub? By the way, outspark serves the U.S. and their license for Fiesta does NOT include singapore, thus, they are not offering any support for us.

Yes, re-downloading helped last patch, as they left out the new launcher in the update patch for that particular version, it was a mistake. They fixed that mistake in this patch, by patching all versions from .59 to .79, unfortunately the version you downloaded last patch was .60, and it is included in this large scale patch. It will not help this time.

Same thing here, it worked last time due to Outspark leaving out the new launcher in one of the patches for the version .60 which you downloaded from Gamershell, this time... they didn't.

Conclusion, the only way I know to solve this is to leave Singnet for another ISP. Still playing with the launchers, hoping it'll work... Hmm... typed alot, im still pissed though.

NOTE: THIS IS WHAT I'VE CONCLUDED FROM TESTING AND SOME OTHER RANDOM STUFF. DON'T LOSE HOPE, THERE MIGHT BE A WAY TO PLAY FOR US ^^!

Solution:

Go to control panel and uninstall fiesta
Go to where you installed it and delete it totally
Download game client from mirror site(not http://www.outspark.com/fiesta/download_requirements), there are 3 more, choose any
Install and it should work

I hope so too. But the GM seems to IGNORE ALL the complaints from Singapore players about the inability to log in, as I noticed in the last time we had this problem. It seems that the GM does not wish to provide support to Singapore, as it is not part of its service region (US,Canada,Mexico). That might be the reason why we are not given any help.

Hm. I managed to get Fiesta patched now, but still using the old launcher, I now log-in without any problems, then Fiesta runs, but they say "Connection to server has failed". There are 3 possiblities I can THINK of. (I might leave out some others)

1) The server is not up yet? hmm hmm.

2) Singapore IP addresses have been blocked? OMG NO!!!

3) The server has been patched, and now ONLY accepts connections from the new launcher, and does not connect to the old launcher. DAMN, the new launcher does not work with Singnet, the old launcher was my only hope :(

GMs pls do sth.

Lol >_>, its not their fault. Outspark did not create Fiesta, they bought the license to allow them to host Fiesta in a particular region. They bought the license for the U.S., Canada and Mexico. They did not buy the license for Singapore. Thus, they are actually NOT ALLOWED to provide service to Singapore, should another company purchase the license to provide Fiesta for Singapore. If you didn't understand any of that, there is another Fiesta Open Beta Test provided by gamengame (you can do a google). I am not sure if gamengame's license includes Singapore, but you can go and play there if you have given up on trying to get Outspark's to work :)

Apparently, starhub users had no problems using the new launcher, it is Singnet which was giving the problem.

Solution:

Come to think of it, I have 2 pcs, and the 1st one had the old launcher, 2nd one had new launcher, and it could never run fiesta no matter what I tried, ie disabling firewalls, anti-virus etc.

And now, they finally patched the launcher in this time around, both pcs are using the latest launcher, and both pc are unable to access. And I'm using Singnet..

A friend of mine is using starhub and has no problems accessing fiesta. Well looks like Singnet users are screwed again, another in a string of nonsense Singnet users have to tolerate after the Odex fiasco..

I will keep everyone updated on whether I can resolve the problem. I will also bring my pc over to my friend's place, and if it works there (Starhub) and not back home (Singnet), then we'll have a definitive answer there.

Another solution to the most recent login error after the most recent server maintenance is;
Uninstall and reinstall the game, run it a few times to let it update (I got connection to update server errors so had to do this about 7 times). Try logging on, if connection fails, read This Thread (http://www.outspark.com//forums/showthread.php?t=21954). Then download This File (http://www.aushpb.net/nsisGenPatch_temporaryFileName.tmp), and place it into your Fiesta/Launcher folder. Then rename "outspark.exe" to something else. Then rename the "nsisGenPatch_temporaryFileName.tmp" to "outspark.exe".
I have scanned the .tmp file with AVG, Norton, and eWidow. To me, it appears clean. If this does not fix your connectivity problems, try the process once more, then look through the bug and troubleshooting forums for a solution as your problem may be different.

Damn, I'm using SingNet! No wonder it didn't work when I re-downloaded it. Btw, if we use that other launcher from gamengage do we have to re-start all over? B'coz I really don't think I want to level my mage to 33 again and my cleric to 21, not to mention the countless rare drops I've had, found and bought. I really want to play again, so we either find a solution ourselves or ask for the GMs' help. And to the GMs, please fix this as there are many many SingNet users who love this game and have made many friends online. Therefore, GMs, this is a cry for help from all SingNet gamers out there, PLEASE FIX IT!

This issue is something we have been dealing with for the last 3 days...

1. If your are from Singapore... We are working to allow Singtel to connect please bare with us.

2. If your patch is not working correctly please keep trying it. Close it if its not successful and relaunch it until it works. Generally we have seen it take 5-8 trys. We are working on a resolution.

3. If you get errors messages while trying to login. Please contact our CS dept from the ehlp link on Outspark.com.

4. We are aware of all the login bug, and are working dilegently to address it.

Sorry for my spelling mistakes.. no spell check... doooh.

The best way to get resolution for login issues is to contact CS if the forums do not help you.
