What's the coat of arms?

The new server is about to be open to all players and its event is about to start as well. But I still have some questions?

1. What is the coat of arms?
2. This is a permanent version, right?
3. Will this item be available in the fiesta store once the event is over?
4. Will the shop item version be permanent as well?
5. What class should I pick?

Any ideas to my questions?

[1-4] I don't know but they said they would also have events on the other servers to get it as well.

[5] I'm going cleric as first character as money will be low at first and clerics are the cheapest to level. After that I'm going archer with the money I saved from my cleric....hehe

what do you mean by perm? like permanent SC items, if so then i dont think so, those are soul bound to the characters u applied them to.

well a Coat Of Arms is a Sheild i think so it will probelly be a Pet.

I think there will be a lot of people going for it but I'm sure if you try hard you will get there. Once people see what it is some will stop and start making money anyway so its kind of a race to be the first to see what it is. If it is not that cool of an item then most will go back to there old server anyway.

Edit:I'm sure with it being a permanent item its not going to amount to much anyway. Why would they make an item that would damper SC sales....they wouldn't !!

Its either a perm outfit, or rare pet, or headgear.

Im leaning more towards rare pet.

Perhaps Im wrong...but Outspark tends to be kind of predictable with their sc items.

A coat of arms, through history, and in definition, is effectively your banner / flag / standard. A Coat of Arms is usually always present in any one battlefield, in order to encourage the troops. It is usually raised alongside the native flag on a flag pole, or on a courier's two-handed flag pole. The courier of the coat of arms will, most likely, be seen standing at the side of the unit Chaplain (in charge of boasting the troops morale). Units that have their standard bearers at the forefront of battle, are also known to be very vicious in it's protection.

My conclusion is that, it could most likely be a weapon skin in the form of a standard with the banner of the Server's God's emblem / colours / what not. Ideal effects would be something along the lines of various AoE buffs. Immunity to the debuff: confuse. Massive Spirit boosts. This sounds like an item that should be able to trump all other items. Especially considering it's going to be an extremely rare item (or so they make it seem). They are also saying it's permanent (which I noticed doesn't exist in the SC shop anymore). Form this time, I believe it is about 5 hours and 5 minutes until the server is opened. I wish you all the best of luck!

The U.S. military still uses them. They have the Color Guard. Which hold it in their hands out front. That's why I was thinking weapon skin. t'would be kinda cool to smash people with a flag, though... Or for me... throw arrows at peoples with it.

I think it's funny this new server/world is comming out on my B-day!

There seems to be a mess up or something. I read that you need to be one of the first few to reach level 50, but then looking at the announcements it is 500 people who have played the longest.
So which one is it or is it both?

well its a premium item shining over your head like an angel's halo. wonder what symbol it is that outspark will customise it as. either as an overhead thing or as an emblem on your toon.

if my memory serves correct, the item is character-locked. which means, it can only be redeemed with the character you used to get to level 50.

the database in outspark's servers will record the time, date, spark-ID, character name of all the characters created. when by sorting the tables, the number of level 5x reaches 500, the event ends.

so unless outspark changes something or all 500 players submit a request for it to be account-locked instead of character-locked.. the item will stay as character locked.

It's probably gonna be a floating shield (hence, the name "Coat of Arms") if it's gonna be a pet. Why in the world would it be a flag? Also, pets doesn't have to be a living thing, lol (just look at the Tequila pet).
