Im choosing cleric because i like the feeling of making people smile when i buff them =), plus its pretty cheap to lvl. My first character ever was a cleric but then i gave up on him, but now im gonna try being a cleric again but actually stick to it =)

Mage, tried all the classes and mage is the fastest to lvl next to archer. But i also like pvp ;D SOOOO its a clear choice

Ehh, But all the +9 gear in the world doesnt affect M.Deff and a GOOD mage can Take down a fighter with little resistance (In Respectable combat aka: No Pots/Cookies/Sc Pot) Besides the fact that fighters have a really hard time lvling with out a aoe DD. Where as a Mage Just needs a cleric (and a cookie pack) ^,^

Pvp is more than just spam spam spam Like most believe. Theres also alota tactics Like for archers, Kiting. Now that mages can do so with some skills we can Kite for a few sec then Chain Cast Fear Spam alot more. Nova infront so they have to run thru then inferno. Cast another fear and Finish him off. Granted YES it does Req all clear cools. But also Gear plays a Huge factor. For instance Max int/Dex gear Really high dmg that never misses. personally im gonna try for End/Dex Gear for PVM and all +9 thats enuff to survive alot of physical damage. Ive seen Mages do some Crazy things. Esp at High lvls. Ive seen non-cookied Mages aoe the entire lava garg field and Giant Mud Man Fields with just a cleric.

when i was talking about spamming skills, i was referring to fighter pvp tactics.

theres still more then that to fighters ;D. the order in which you use your skills and the addition of the 1h switch for added dmg/aim. a Smart PVP fighter would confront a mage w/ a 1h/Shield for added M.Deff once u land deva use 1h skills then switch to axe to finish

okay....and besides right clicking to equip a different weapon depending on the opposing class and using deva first?

Well, against archers its a wise choice to start 1h use use and use skills to increase aim, and then decrease dex that way when you switch to your axe you dont have to worry so much about that pesky eva as much. and vs clerics its better to start with fatal slash to decrease deff. since most of them are tanks

My cleric on Apoline was full str....people thought I was a noob...its a challenging build, I will say that.

Ha, i had a cleric that was 25spr rest str on Bijou. out of sheer boredom. but it was funny. they aren't to bad pvp(1v1) if u have ALOT of end/dex gear. you can survive DD fighters most of the time and archers EZ. just takes forever to kill anything. But with crit buff ohh daym that might be a decent little Healing force to be reckoned with




ps: I quit my "Rambo Cleric" as i was called at 55.

Yes, it's a novelty build, imo. Just something to play around with but nothing serious.

I feel that way about Full Dex Archers... A Novelty Build. Nice for staying alive but to low dmg to play a Major factor in wars or Major Bosses. I think archers should be a Nice Str/Dex Ratio so they can still do some decent DPS <Sorry a lil off topic>

Hybrid builds are usually always better than pure builds. Just food for thought when making your chars on Legel everyone! ;)

Yeah End/Str or End/Dex (the End/Dex is only worth it if you have high amounts of dex)

But i remember reading about a cleric on Teva or Apoline, one of those that was a Str based Cleric and he got all the way to 89. So Good Luck. Look forward to Seein ya in game tomorrow

Fighter...'cause a mage is hell in the 40's (imo) ..and my str fighter finished the 50 werebear hair repeat in about 7 mins once I got there. Was about an hour per lvl..

Not playing on Legel, but I couldn't help but notice the STR cleric discussion.

My full STR cleric is level 99 and should be Holy Knight in less than a week. The defense isn't as much of a problem as you might think, and being able to do some damage is nice.

Anyone who wants to see what full STR + crit buff can do is welcome to come see me on Teva.

Soloing on a mage is do-able, but expensive and annoying. I soloed a mage from lvl 1-67...and then I had enough of that bs.
