Iyzel Tower & Leveling Event

Just wanted to give a heads up that the issue of not being able to move forward in the instance should be resolved with tomorrow's maintenance. GM Straega will get the patch notes up tomorrow midday with what's being fixed.

Routine maintenance is supposed to be conducted tomorrow but considering this fix does not require a patch, this issue should be resolved along with the addition of the new server and some other server fixes, most notably the crashes that occured during the weekend.

Okay, what are your thoughts about the tower in relation to participating in the 500 to 50 event? Will you use the tower every chance you get or not use it at all? Discuss!

HELLS YEA, since i dont have 100% xp boost and im a pretty cheap SC player, ima tower as much as i can muahaha! lets hope most of the other people do sumthin else like 20 abyssing XD or the tower waiting list is gonna be A LOT

No.. Not really the time it takes and atempts it would take if you didn't have the right team wouldn't be worth the 1 lvl you get. Personally abyss is much more efficient if u mass aoe. I did a test run on Bijou and even with all the Pkers in 2x once i hit 20 i got 2-3 lvls an hour with a cleric duo.

LvL 20-28 = 2x Abyss
LvL 28-33 = 3x Abyss
lvl 33-38(or so) = 4x abyss and its pretty much self explanatory

Lol just need the patience to grind non-stop but its also a decent sorce of drops to replenish stones and update gear. Not to mention the Chance of scroll production skills/Stones that should help My guild Greatly

i guess its a nice thing to have people moving from other servers with me =) we already planned our classes and how our parties are gonna work so we will have a faster time towering

Abyss works, but I personally can't stand to look at the same mob in the same place for hours on end.

And I agree, the tower will not be worth the time I think.

But I am biased. I remember back when there was no tower and no abyss, that's how I know how to level.

And that's how I will be leveling.

However, I do think a good portion of the people that win this event will have used the tower to it's maximum extent.

I will say the tower will be tempting cause of the t4 mats and tempation of Blues. But Im really gonna need the stones. After i hit 50 imma work on +9ing all my 60 gear to make aoeing the 6x abyss a little easier.

I, personally, want to use the tower to its full extent, minus level 33-36 which can be easily done via the Zombie master (repeat) quest.

The smart move might be to wait and use the tower quest for the last of the levels to fifty not the first ones....idk?

I'm not sure but you might want to get the quests before level 45 though as some will not available to you then. I would just pick them up as you are in Roumen and save them that is what i am doing anyway.

hmm well to me I would much rather abyss with deva...so the faster I can get to 43 is the faster I can move from tower and go grinding actually..but to me exp is exp...gonna get the same exp from the tower quest no matter what lvl..and I would much rather skip burning hillX.x

Yea, I just kinda like to do the low level KQ is all...so That is the rout I'm going to take it might not be the fastest and might make me lose the event but hey it will be fun anyway.

Thats Depressing. You Sure its Shield Deff? If so woot cause i dont have to worry about it. But BOOOO cause it makes Finding it as a RARE DROP pointless

Only scrolls that will be seen for some time are the few that people own themselves that they make from mob drops. Leveling quick means less mat drops, which means even less scrolls.

Same goes for enhancement stones.

Go lvl in 4x abyss when your lvl 37-40 without scrolls and a +0 weapon and see how tough it is.

Well while most will be there to do the event you will always have that one or two that are there to make money and they will be making scrolls and stones as fast as we can buy them I'm sure.

This is to pinoyboy about that mara kq, I can guarentee the better players will be the first ones in the kq's so you won't have to worry about losing because everyone will already be skilled with their chosen class for the race to level 50=)

I suppose we might still have the quest. It says we trade the Coin of Isya for the Coat of Arms. So, I am thinking maybe a quest by-pass?

I'll be holding all tower quests 'til mid-40's and just level off regular quests and some kq's starting at mara: haven't needed to touch king slime on a new char in so long, I'ld have to spend the whole kq chatting to see what's new w/ him :D lol

if you save all your tower quests till you're in the 40s then you gain about 4-6 levels so it should be interesting lol

IM gunna be doing wearbear repeats till 47 and then 48 should be np only hard lvl is 49 but i have plans to pass it quick i hope
