Eh.. I'll stick w/ my little broken down stick (wish it were a broom instead though.) :p :D

I know you didn't put it in the list (maybe you should have) it costs nothing to maintain and is perminent. As for speed, wheeeellll, I never could get used to the raise above 60 mph limit on the highways, and don't need to dash to my death every other quest. I realy don't use it all that much anyway as I prefer to walk/run to my demise and/or make sure I don't miss anything along the roadside when farming. :p
