Don't get depressed, feel up!

Why don't you ask the same people who said that rouges were so good in PVP WHY they were good in PVP, and what they did to be so good?


How do you fair against people your own level?

Hey guys, if any of you remember me in game you proly killed me. Hehe... joking aside i quit my warrior to be a rogue because i read on a couple of threads that rogues were pretty good at PVP. After my job change i encountered 2 problems. First, the hit range. The stab the rogue does to attack has a tiny range. This makes it tough to train. I thought to myself, oh well it'll pay off when i PVP. The next thing i new i was in a grave marker in a pvp room. A had just handed my *** to me. I start training more... i got to lvl 18 and i joined a large fight. I was always first to take a dirt nap. Frustration was building up faster than bob the builder builds buildings(dang right! i said build 4x).

currently i have:
23 wins
44 losses
9 KO
49 down

When i had my warrior i hadn't lost as much and i had 30 KOs...

Is this because im not a trapper yet? OR does it mean i should just scrap my toothpick wielding friend and try something else? Maybe i just can't do PVP with rogues. Any advice will be deeply appreciated :) thanks in adv.
The thing about rouges is that they are horrible in PvE. Since they are, they level slower, so they are slower to get their skills. Anyways, I'm not a pro rouge but I have seen many of them in PvP >< And here are somethings I see.
-Hiding in team battles is OK, but in 1v1, it's not ><- You will get yelled at for hiding in 1v1 so don't do it. If U are playing someone smart, they will probably hit u b4 u can hit them, so try to only hide in team battles.
-Grabbing- Cheap with rouge...if u time it all correctly, all you do is. Grab + Stun + Hit Hit Hit Poison + Quickly Grab + Stun + Hit Hit Hit Poison, rinse - repeat. Don't do this though, cause it proves u can't do anything besides that. Grabbing with rouge is useful,you can dish out about 1/3 of an HP Bar like so. Try to initiate the skill quickly after U grab or enemies can block easily.
Rouges are actually a pretty simple class because all of their skills are very PvP based. I hope I helped at the least. ^^

umm what is PVE??? Can you can lvl up fast there??

PvE stands for Player versus Environment. In other words, your character against monsters. So rouges are PvP kings but PvE...unkings ^^

CHEER Up! its just a game pally im a trapper lvl 32 and i still kick buttox at least i think so XD just practice a lot becuz practice make perfect. Also, not everyone is good with a class, lyk me i suk wiht archers lol but i kept trying and i became good . If u dont lyk rouge i suggest to pick sumthing else. CHEER UP PaLLY

Try to watch and see where people are gonna run.
In the beginning of the game in full rooms, usually there are like 1 or 2 huge mobs spamming at each other. Usually one of them is gonna get pwned by the other, so be on the lookout for people running away/chasing! Those r the ppl you wanna poison. Be sure to be invisible.
This is probably gonna get you hated but XD we're used to it rite?

..Luls. Well, in my experience, rogues take a little practice working with the range. If you want to start easier, try mage or archer. Something spammable. :D

hey i am a lv 28 rouge and for a rouge it is mainly about your speed. Rouges have pretty fast attacks so use your S attack more, than your D. (but use your D for grabs) Also take advantage of your opponents attacks. when a mage attacks with ice quickly dodge and attack, because it takes awhile for them to recover from there attack. I have gone through tons of fights and never been hit because most classes have slow attacks use that to your advantage! Hope this helps.
and for PVE use your D, this is what I do when fighting monsters, first hit, hit with poisen than let them follow you, when they get near use D than walk away about 2 inches than walk back and hit them so while they are stunned from the attack you get out of harms way. And by the time you come back they would have just recovered and you can do it again and again, also when you get your long ranged attack it help allot it PVE. hope this helps:)
