Why can't I download the game?!>.>

I registered..everything is completely fine but when I try to download the client it sez :"Thank you for your interest in Secret of the Solstice. Access to the game is currently limited to members of the closed beta program. We'll be sure to let you know when this exciting game becomes available to the public."

The game is currently in closed beta stage so in order for you to play you must get an invite for a GM otherwise just sit and wait for it to become open beta.

You know. I really don't understand what's so hard to conceive about what it says. Maybe Outspark should change it to say "YOU CAN'T DOWNLOAD RIGHT NOW, TOUGH NUTS, KID."

If Outspark was any degree "stronger" with its wording on the matter, then it potentially stops a player from wanting to play SoS when it does come up. Since there will have to be some sort of "Item Shop" if it's a free game (There is no such thing as a completely free MMORPG nowadays), it means that player who is rejected could potentially be a 12-year-old kid willing to spend hundreds of dollars on in-game crap, meaning profit.

If it was blatant, like "Lolz you ain't got nothing on us. We ain't givin' you or your loved ones any sort of invitation," then it reduces te potential number of paying players.

The really bad part is that a lot of players are probably already leaving due to some people being able to "get through" and make an account without the need of an invitation.

LMFAO it's people like this that make me hate and mock the rest of humanity. I swear out of all the creatures on earth and possibly in the universe humans has to be the stupidest of them all.

Cool your jets White_cold, maybe you do need to learn to read something and take a moment to understand it before you get all hyped up spilling appie juice from your tippy cup and making a post like this. It's obviously not that hard to understand even for someone that doesn't speak English.

I'm pretty sure he didn't mean "kid" in the degrading way. And the message was very self-exclamatory.

The problem being that the game is being advertised on other websites like it is open. So yes people are annoyed they register only to find a game they can not download. I found out about this game from a website and the game was advertised like it was live. No mention of any beta let alone CB.

Also you have the issue of some people signing up for outspark and getting to play the game while others get that message. So the message may be self-explanatory, but nothing before you try and download tells you it wont work.

White_Cold was looking for more of an explanation other than "You can't get in." Yes, they did spell it out but honestly this is my first time ever hearing of such a thing as a closed beta program, I've heard of beta and alph testing but closed was new to me, and I would've come out to say the same thing if I weren't too shy to say it.

AzraelT_T was just giving it to you plain and simple, White_Cold, not in an intimidating or degrading way. Essentially from the error message you should be able to deduce that SoS is not playable by the public at the moment, but is rather just for certain people, like a membership, who are testing out the game to make sure it's well before a ton of people get on at once and kill it.

To the best of my knowledge(not much but I have a little) the date has not been set yet.
