Cleric Armour

My clerics level 47 and is currently wearing her set pants and shirt, I was crazed to get her to level 45 after seeing how nice my bf's fighter set gear was. I assumed that the cleric's gear would have had something different as well. Once i got to level 45 i put them on i was disappointed to see that our set armor is the exact same one we had at level 18 i think. Its unfair that the mages,archers,fighters all of them get nice armor and us clerics get the bulky gear. Okay its nice but i just found it unfair how the cleric set item for level 45 was a copy of one of our old armor.

I'm hoping i get some feedback from this thread seeing if other, not necessarily clerics,but even fighters mages and archers, think of this the same way i do :)

It doesnt surprise me that once again clerics are stiffed something really cool. Honestly they've been rather cruel to clerics as far back as I can remember, and probably long before then. Just keep in mind: just because it looks like noobish armour doesnt mean it doesnt give out the same stats as the other class 45 purples. We still get all the bonuses just without the looks

I know we still get the same stats. But it would be nice to have some nice flattering armor for once.

the other classes armor's are copies, too.
copies of the lv 100 armor.

it's just a bug, but bugs like this that don't affect the game mechanics are going to be fixed at last...

I would rather they leave it as it is.....I noticed that clerics with safety set are less likely to be asked for a buff from strangers in Elderine.....so.....that's the advantage I suppose

Okay there is that advantage but still...It would be nice to finally have some flattering armor. Or at least if they where going to copy something they could have copied our level 20 one. When we have the short blue skirt. Well short blue skirt for the girls.

there are a ton of things I would rather have them fix before they start working on other things like 45 purples, an AoE would be nice :/

I do kind of agree, although, it's nice to have a newbie preview of what we COULD look like in the future. I bought the entire set just for giggles.

Hehe yeah, I got my honeying fighter a full kick set with horrible stats... just to see what she'd look like. It's cool, I'll admit. But now that I'm experiencing the other end of the stick, it outweighs the cool. =/ At the 89 cap, I flaunted my 80 armor. At the 105 cap, I flaunted my 90 armor. Now I'll get to flaunt my flamewalker and skeletons, and I'll flaunt the armor along with it, it just... killed the pride that comes with actually being able to wear it.

I have a lvl 4x mage and cleric alts.... well the mage is a girl, quite teasing, and the cleric is a boy, quite disgusting... not that all cleric armors are nice. Lvl 80,90 look like a science fiction B movie. My cleric everyday's prayer "Please Outspark save me from tight pants and B movie's costumes..."

Yea =( I was kinda down about the 45 cleric gear to. Did kinda wish they change it :\ but oh well.. as someone else said =( cleric's always seem to get the short end...

I think, instead of making gear to resemble a higher level gear, or in our case, a lower level gear, they should have just made new armor if they wanted to make a set item.

There are lots of flaws for Clerics >.> and I dont want to say them cause it would be off-topic but I too was also disappointed of the look of the Safety armor since my brother (Archer) got a cool looking armor and I got a low lvl look... but it doesnt matter anyways because by lvl 55, get the Divine set w/ good stats of course, with it ull have a decent look, decent + stats and play fine...

well, first of all the skills, I dont like to compare things, but in this case games, we only get 2 personal buffs throughout 1-60 (by that I mean Endure, and the Curse Resistance buff) 2 are party buffs and 1 is increased block rate and its not even for the whole party... while in this game I played WAY back b4 this game (dont want to mention the game) had tons of personal buffs and party buffs and their armor looked AWESOME

I saw this thread that clerics need AoE and I agree, I was getting mobbed once and it happens every now and then since I solo most of the time (dont ask) and I die cause I have to kill them one by one by one, and so on.. even if we dont get AoE, it would be nice to have atleast more than 2 Offensive skills, atleast 3 or 4 tops below lvl 60

Second of all, our dmg isnt that high, I can solo fine but with the monsters with ridiculous defense, it takes me like 5 minutes to kill one even if I am like 4 lvls higher... most people know that Full STR is not good Even at higher levels, its actually worse... Critical Rate for me isnt that well either, I have Critical armor, Earring, armor,pants, boots, etc.. and I dont crit that much...

Finally, Why does Cleric have to be full support, wats the reason of making 2 classes, a Full Support and a DD at lvl 100 when your dmg isnt even that high ~_~, wat, like the DD class have to be act like a full support? wats the reason of even making a DD class?

i agree with you in everything you said. It does take long killing things we do need more attacks, personal buffs ect. its unfair how all the other classes get the attention and clerics dont.

ya i wud agree with the guy talkin about d skill mess ups n what not... the armor topic though sucks why cant they just have a different version of armor for the purples they always look like the other armors and its confusing ... they cud also just make the lvl 45 purples look like lvl 40 or 50 gear like they did with the rest of the purples for every freaking level >.>
