Missed heal?

Hi all, I'm just wondering, is it possible for clerics heal to miss? 'Cos it seems at times I pressed my heal skill, the healing light came out, I *think* (not paying attention) that my sp went down, but the person I'm healing's hp doesn't go up.

So I'm wondering... is it because I lag? Or a game bug? Or it's supposed to be this way?

it happens sometime, i think its a bug. ive died soloing several times because of that >.<

Well, there is a slight casting animation between using the heal skill and having the skill actually cast, just like with any other skill in the game. So yeah, sometimes people die because there's around a half second animation between hitting the heal button and the damage to be healed.

if the heal is carried out at about the same time as the damage takes effect they offset each other...if the damage taken equals the HP restored by heal it looks like nothing happened at all.
