Recently all of isya was in danger and everyone went to save it, that was a great plan. but the part that really started sucking was how there were a hundred people who did not belong in the fight. there was at least 1 lvl 6 fighting the "mini dragon" and from all the white shirts i would say there were more. people weren't dealing damage, i couldn't even use my skills. I have a cable internet connect and a graphix card more than capable of pushing this game. there were times when i couldn't even move. i know i'm not the only person who experienced this, other mages weren'/t able to cast spells either. near the end of this outspark simply stopped responding, and my version of windows shut it down to prevent errors to my system. by the time i logged back in and loaded the lovely full elderine, the event was over, no exp for me, no items, no nothing, just the frustration that was left behind. I am furious, however, if the item drops and xp are increased for all of isya, i can't complain too much... just need this crap off my chest. ~Enki

Just get out of the lag and press Shift+Z to hide all the other players. Some people were saying it doesn't work but it worked fine for me.

The Events are not about individual xp but more about helping other players for the greater good, which is a reward [xp boost & drop rate increase] for the server and everyone playing it.

Server Events specifically say that the server and not those who help will be rewarded.

I thought all went fairly well. I was at the slimes area in Sand Beach. But then again I**beta tested Dark and Light and anyone that was in that godforsaken beta knows what a nightmare that was lol

It will be better when there's more servers.

yes the lag and everything is annoying but people have to remember that this game is not complete. this is the reason for beta tests. the GMs are doing their best. sure i've had problems but i understand as pcs and networks is my trade. no offence Tyrantis but this isn't the worst game i have played. there are several stages in beta testing usually around 2 to 3 to find bugs. i'm glad i got an invite. the tests are to check for bugs and possibly server load. please can people give the GMs a break (No pun intended GM Break). this is what companies go through when testing new networks as well.

well said bio........ for a game which was free to join in and test, it should be an honour they picked you to play, if you dont like it then unistall it and dont play it anymore or stop slagging it off

It's closed beta, chill the f*ck out Tyrantis. Closed betas aren't meant to be freebie previews of a game like most people seem to believe these days. It's to make sure that the game isn't released unfinished and/or broken *cough* Vanguard comes to mind *cough*

During closed betas the Developers/GM's of a game will test things like lag and server load (how many people the server can handle online at the same time).

As well as event planning, event turnouts (that affect both lag and server load), as well as countless other things from broken quests to bugs and game exploits.

Then again, from Tyrantis post it doesn't sound like they've beta tested a lot of games in their experience.
