questions about mage builds!~

i just recently started a new mage and i LOVE the damage ... i want a powerful build ... 1 that hits the hardest ... but i do not want to die in 1 hit can anyone help me as to stats for a powerful mage?. sure pack int ... something like 25 spr i hear? ... what about end? do i want more health? and i also heard a crackpot theory on useing dex for a mage .. opinions on that as well please:confused:

dex is useless for mage. If you have troubles hitting your enemies, use power scrolls (as long as you fight yellow con mobs, you shouldn't have any troubles).
end is also useless. Sur it can help in the early lvls, but at higher lvls, mobs hit so hard and your defense is so weak, that more HPs make no difference.

Focus on int for now.

For a mage in my opinion its good to do pure int. mages are the power, nothing more, you dont need a lot of health you need sp so you can kill in 2 or less hits, so before they can scratch you, they are already down.


I also have a mage (my fav class) and I have pure int. with spr. gear, you can go that way also if you would like :)

ok first you need to know this. Mages die really fats (like in 3 hits) so there is nothing you can do about it. But you can kill off a monster before it even has a chance to hit you. In order to do this follow this guide
