What's the deal with golden bugs?

I've done burning hill 6 times now and still only 5 bugs. Every time they drop I can't pick them up. I'm guessing the only way to get them is to be the final hit? Is their an easy way to get them or am I doing something wrong?

Yeah you need to do the final hit,or your pty,it would be good to have dds in your pty i guess,using skills that do enoguh dmg to finish off a mon at the right time would help too.
Sometimes ppl don't see their bugs and leave them there,the bugs can't be picked by other ppl for more than a min but some stay there and get them for their own quest or to sell later.

People try to sell them off in town for 3-10s, when you can potentially get 10+ in a single gold hill if you leave team and wait for monsters to have || hp, then use a spell/skill to get the last hit.
