Okay, I would like to know the difference between the Elrue, Lix, and the other*skill scroll you buy from the Skill NPC...I have not gotten one answer in-game...
*I have a Cleric and I have a Fighter. I would like to know what Alchemy Skills would go best with each. I would also like to know about the Potion Production and the Scroll Production. Help would be greatly appreciated.

read the description for what an elrue and lix is and you will see. Elrue is for upgrading from 1-3 and lix is for 4-6..so buying the elrue scroll allows you to make those and the lix scroll allow you to make those ones

click your skills button on bottom of the window. you will see 2 empty slots and below that you will see 3 different skills. 1.) potions 2.) scrolls 3.) stone
you drag and drop the 2 skills from the 3 listed into the slots on top. then you approve of those 2 choices.
reopen skills and drag and drop stone( that makes elrue/lix/etc.) into your hotbar. if you have the available skill learned( like elrue) and you have all the needed materials then you right click the skill to start it making the product. I have made a couple of hundred elrue I sell as vendor loot. it is a very simplistic system once you learn it.I play Vanguard who arguably has the hardest crafting system of any modern MMO out today. So this stuff is child's play IMO*/sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif

Open skills ( the "k" button) and pick your 2 production skills. choose wisely, there is no changing them later.
Then you buy the recipes for those skills at Ruby under the "alchemy" tab. use the arrows at the bottom to change pages.
