Tower Drops.

Why is it level 15 imps in tower can drop materials that sell for 700c and can be aoe'd in large amounts, while level 30-50 monsters drop crappy level LQ and medium materials that barley sell for 200?

There is 7 archers right now with +9 bows farming tower floor 1, making apprently hundreds of silver an hour for little to no work ;o

has it always been like this?

They go in, lure the imps, use 2 aoe, loot, leave, join team, repeat.

You can only go to floor 1, but floor 1 has like 20 imps ready to be killed fast and drop too much money.

Where did you hear this from? All the monsters STILL drop the same 'Highest Quality' ingredients, though not often as the Iyzel Imps.

Yeah, you can still go in tower, though all you can do is farm the drops.

It helped me alot, but it kinda wasted my time, so I poofed.

Uhhhh? I have never recieved items like shining soul dusts from ratmen, goblins, ghosts, ect.

And Idk why a lvl20-50 instance would drop t4 mats, but it's certainly a keeper. 8D I made 1g+ an hour using a lvl20 mage to farm the first floor. <3

the sad fact of the matter is this method of making cash has already ruined the server a lot, people now know there is a get rich quick option and are doing it constantly, and the people who are now selling items have decided that if people can make that much money, they will pay more for items.. so as a result there are now people who think that a mini pet slime is worth 5gold.. i have a screen shot of someone selling that if anyone would like to see it lol... long story short, something needs doing, and needs doing fast

Nothing really needs doing. The people who are selling just need a brain. Pets come easy. Supply and Demand. On Legel, there is high demand and low supply, prompting the price influx, but 5g is still a little overboard. Just because we have access to more money doesn't necessarily mean we'll pay more for items. it means that we want to be able to buy more, for the same price. hell, I see people trying to sell Elrue [1] for 500 copper a piece when i can just go to an Item Merchant and pick up one for 270 Copper. It costs me around 405 Copper to make one, which might explain the prices, but it'd be so much cheaper to just hold onto those and make Lix [1] then sell for a rather jacked price >_>. People do that. Besides, if I don't like the way something's priced, I aint touching it.

Again just because it is priced high does not mean it sells.

The tower will always be farmed just like all other things that have good drops. It would slow it down if it was fixed as the wait time would deter people from farming. The ONLY people that are complaining about the farming are the ones that cant farm it. Bottom line it will be farmed till they fix it and we have to wait to get in again.

I also saw a drastic increase in prices of some things.

This is very apparent if you attempt buying things like +9 level 20's. When I was level 20-30 on my first char, still kinda dumb about prices, ways to make money, ect, they were being sold for as little as 200-400s.

Now I decided to try out a mage, only to find that a green +9 is worth upwards of 500s-1gold depending on the bonus stats.

Other things that have increased in price are rare things. People who used to sell very good items for 1g, now have to set the bar up to 5-15g because anyone with 4 war rants and a level 20 mage/archer can make 5 gold in 4 hours. A thing like Blessed Ring of Elderine was in a shop for 3gold, now it is sitting in CutThroats (i think) shop for 12g?

My main problem with this was, at first, people who actually did work to make money, such as hunting harder monster, farming bosses like marlone, zombie king, giant goblin king, ect were making less money than people who just used 2 magic bursts in tower 1.

I will not lie, I have become somewhat of a hypocrite now, as when my mage hit level 20, i use the 4 war rants from my master in tower. After 4 hours, I had gained 3 levels, and 4.8 gold.

I do not plan on making another level 20 to "farm", though there could be a upside to this whole thing. Servers will eventually have a lot of money flowing around, like in the older servers, and this is not a bad thing, as it makes NPC prices and stuff less menacing. As long as sellers are not retarded and try selling a green level 15 wand for 8 silver, even people 100% new to the game will still have a chance to get decent stuff.

Tower does not look like it will change anytime soon, so I guess there is nothing we can do about it but adapt to it.

ok its a way 2 make $ fast great but hey im not gona pay 5% more for anyhitng if something costs 200c im not gona pay 300c for it and if u try 3s ill laughf at u but i do agree the money ppl get is crazy i say tower should b t2/t3 drops not pure t4 when tower 1st came out i was rly pist i was lv 75+ and 2x ppl whos chars r 1 day old make more $ then me
