anyone else notice that my poll went missing? you know, the "Did you receive an "invite" to play SoS?" poll.
well that's our Outspark team for you. deleting a user's topic without justification is the way to go.
edit: lol and my posts went with it too :( guess i'm starting at 1 again. that's a bit of a tangent though haha

Honestly, I'm glad someone came on and deleted it. It shows that maybe the GM team is starting to care what's being posted in their forums. Minus your poll their's only about 20 others with just about the exact same topic that need to be deleted as well.
I am sorry to hear that your post count went with it though.

uhh.. No.
starting to care? you mean flex their muscles? of all the numerous "exact same topic" polls/threads they choose to delete mine right? whats the justification behind it?
you'd think the least they can do is post "this topic is closed. if you have further questions, feel free to message me/the outspark team." they'd rather merely delete it as though those 140 votes didn't happen right? lol k

Was out getting a soda at 7-11. Anyway, the thing about being a forum moderator or GM of anything is that you don't have to justify your reasons for anything really that has to do with a forum. Most places when you click the box agreeing to whatever it is that they choose to put in there, it doesn't state that the GM staff / mod team has to tell you why the deleted your post / poll / link / whatever. I'm not sure about this one because honestly, I didn't read it as it's probably like most other F2P MMO sites.
EDIT: You could PM all the members of the GM staff and ask why your poll was deleted but like I said, it doesn't seem like the GM staff is that active on these forums in terms of communicating with other players outside of the Beta. I mean sure, half the threads on the forums are "Blx inbite me soz i cn plyh wif friens?!!@" and other crap like that but a good GM team communicates with everyone and not just the "Selected few".
In any case, just toss em a PM if you want and hope for a response if not then re-create your poll and specifically ask in your post why your other thread was deleted. That's really all you can do.

uhhhh i'd think providing some sort of explanation to one's actions ('one' defined as a GM/moderator) should be necessary. not only is it courteous on their part, but it makes sure those suffering from their actions aren't left in the dark as to why it happened.
wait, leaving the SoS community in the dark is what they do best!
i take it if you created a poll about something you thought was fairly important and it grew to seven pages worth of replies.. well if that was deleted out of the blue, you wouldn't be prompted to ask why right? "oh i clicked that agree box when i registered! good ol GMs!"

wait, "a good GM team communicates with everyone" right? then why should i have to personally message them about a topic, let alone other unaddressed (word? lol) topics? i mean they can just communicate with me here so everyone can see it. i don't want to seem like one of those "selected few"
yeah, the GM staff isn't active at all. you're right! they're only active enough to come and delete my topic and post that there are two of them in-game.
I am having fun playing Solstice!
Come play with me!
im in the square hanging out with Rider....
props to Murdock

Exactly that's the thing, not to bash this GM staff but they're horrible about telling anyone outside of the CB anything, just today I saw ONE of them actually involved in a post which needless to say shocked the hell out of me.
In any case, I would ask why my thread was deleted but if I didn't get a reply after a long time I'd just figure that they don't have to tell me and I'd try to find out if in fact they do or don't have to tell me anything.
But honestly dude (If you're a guy) you probably will never get a response as too why it was taken down. Just make another one and see if you get warned or something then you can ask why, hell I'll even help you get your post count back if it takes me all night :P
Just don't expect the staff to reply to anything unless it's an direct insult, but even then they'd probably just ban your account. If we're not in Beta which I'm not, we're the black sheep and they don't want anything to do with us.

errr they don't tell those in "CB" anything either.
and uh, i'd think that the warning should come first, then the judgment. not the judgment, then the warning. dunno if that made sense. i'm sure it did. sort of.
