*new effect added- fading characters*

Ok, since so many people have asked, I decided to make a guide on how to make effects, spacifically ears and tails, for your characters in the Photo Zone.

Here is the example:
http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot063.jpg

Keep in mind that i had to redo this picture for the guide, so there may be some small differences.

First, select the decoration already given to you (0), this part will be the background, change it to a frame
http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot065.jpg

enlarge it so that it covers the entire background, and change it to whatever color you want-remember that color, you will need it later.

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot066.jpg

Next, you need to select whatever pose you want your character to be in

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot067.jpg

Now you need to add a new frame, remember to keep it behing you character

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot068.jpg

you need to once again make a new frame, this time, make sure it is the same color as the background, use this frame to cover the previous frame in order to form the ear-

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot069.jpg

continue doing this :P

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot071.jpg

Then make a new frame for the next ear, and repeat

Now for the tail...
Make another frame(yes it does get tiring after a while :D), this time using one of the circle shapes

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot076.jpg

then make yet another frame and cover the previous one, leave a small part showing

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot077.jpg

make it the same color as the background

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot078.jpg

Use another circular frame for the tip of the tail, make it small (I really wish they had a zoom feature XD.)The using a square frame, cover the line/circle things from the other frames

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot079.jpg

and make it the same color as the background

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot080.jpg

Now all thats left to do is add a personal touch

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot084.jpg

Just remember you cant have more than 19 layers, so dont go overboard

It isnt just for kitty ears, you can also use it in many other ways-

Fading characters:
ok, first make the background and character postion to whatever you want-dont move/enlarge the backgroung if you can help it, because it just makes thing more difficult later

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot109.jpg

then add a new decoration, and leave it in the center- dont move it

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot110.jpg

make it the same as the background

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot111.jpg

enlarge it to fill the entire display area by moving one of the corners

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot112.jpg

then change the upper background so it is see through

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n266/kay-123/ScreenShot113.jpg

and your done ^^

It is nice tip, pretty cool too, but I don't think it's that important to put as a sticky lol
