lol ive gone on many occasions to pvp and let them kill me because i didn't need the placements. as for the other, the majority of them went to Spider kq and not pvp. if you didn't know.

Look its very obvious Vendetta WOULD have won at full strength, I mean come on a few lvl 80's and lots of 70's? Were not saying we're better cause of one war, we did what we had to to win, btw for all who didn't know, they re-warred us after this victory on our part, just to show us or something, but I logged off and as our guild master said, we're just going to let you win, after all its just a game, we wanted no hard feelings.

That, my friend, is the opinion of many souls out there. I HAVE a different opinion on how a war should be conducted. Sorry that I didn't make myself clear...

But still. It is, after all, a game. If you cry, what is it about? A few pixels face rolling down to the ground with the same expression? If you're sad, or just angry? A game is a game...it'll be the same thing. I want a war to be fair, but from alot of people are going to say, war is war, and there is no rules for it...

Who said I thought they were pointless? Maybe they are...but then again, I at least attend them to hopefully have a little fun. And it usually turns into that.

I seriously can't believe anyone is bragging about a guild war. I don't even participate in a guild war, there is too much lag in Elderine, and after the 1 hour wasted slashing away at the other guild, even if you completely murder them, all it leads to is hurt feelings and accusations. There are too many variables in a guild war, such as vendor killing, spawning the lower levels, and there is no guarentee that both guilds are fully prepared.

I would like to see OutSpark create a more organized form of a "guild war" where both guilds can get a party ready, go to a secluded map (smaller than a normal sized map), and have a 5 on 5 there. That way both guilds can pick their 5 best people, the low levels who want nothing to do with a guild war can continue doing whatever they want, leading to more accurate results.

They could also make it so both guilds would have to agree to the war, so there are no excuses for not being ready. Then OS could make a ranking system to show who has won the most of these guild wars for that week.

Obviously this is just a rough idea I made up off the top of my head, but until something closer to this is done, guild wars remain utterly pointless.

Personally its hard to judge a guild war and how fair it was. Imo, "winning" is when its a planned guild war and both teams fight fairly. If people team 1 person or shop kill to get ahead in points, then warp to places that nobody can find, thats low. But if both teams fought fairly then grats.

From the sounds of Sauer ... it wasn't fair. If you have a vid to PROVE it was fair i will congratulate you.

Supposedly from bystanders in Eldy..the war WAS fair for the first half. There was fighting between comparative lvls and Envy was killing them. Wether charms or extenders were used has no point, as they are fair game....lame to waste money on a war imo..but fair game lol.

Now I dont agree on warping and scrolling and using peggys to flee.

Or using the excuse that...oh the second half we decided to help academy members and go questing....psh...you were winning..you wanted to keep it that way..so you made yourself scarce.

You start a war, you finish it.

And I was always raised that if you go into a fight and know you are going to lose...you don't run...you stand up to your enemy and get knocked on yer booty. Running doesn't grant you any respect. It's standing up and not backing down that gives you respect.

It's farfetched that people would play guild wars with honor and dignity, but it's a thought.

Well, I've read the whole Thread and almost every singe post. Lemme just put some of my opinion's on this :)

Envy(Infinity)-First off, from all I've heard, your guild has been unfair in this war. Well, Victory is won by the gratest, not by the most cowardly peoples. Why would you post something so un-neccesary, when you beat Vendetta unfair. That's not an accomplishment. Greaat!... you killed lower lvls than you, are you proud? Are you proud of your Victory? Well, in your case Victory is being coward,un-fair and not righteous. I certainly hope that you're not proud. Vendetta are mainly Very High Lvl People. So I'm sure it would not be a fair fight between the guilds if you were going to fight at max. By max, I mean at the time where both guilds have most active member, at the same time. Though, the time differences would make this hard.

Vendetta-Well, I hope the higher lvls didn't just stand there and watched guildies getting killed. Well, I'm proud of your second War Victory. I haven't seen any complaints from second war. Well, Koju is 8x atm, so it would be unfair for Envy, but Koju's the GuildMaster of Vendetta afterall ;). I'm sure the GM's can still hold unto their words ;) Vendetta is Pwnage, and will certainly be.


I just have to say that I'm neutral when I post this. Even though I'm from Vendetta. I wasn't there, and I don't know what happened, so therefore I just posted my thougths on this. Judging from what I've read, Envy brought bad atmosphere into this thread and into game too. Well I won't accuse the whole guild. So the person who did this know who they are.

Ah, yes. Attention… for being completely rude and horribly arrogant as to attack Vendetta in a forum by creating a thread about their loss. It’s one thing to say “Hey, guess what, we won! Yay!” And “HA, Vendetta lost, hahahahahahaha!” What kind of attention is that? Do you like having that kind of reputation? Yes, Vendetta has a reputation of being “strong,” “sparkcashed up the wazzoo (btw, love that phrase Xandon),” etc., but really, no one I know in the guild would go as low as to post a thread saying that the “unbeatable” have failed. What kind of person does that make you? Are you sure you want to be that person? And to those of you in Envy, do you want to be in a guild that has slandered, and quite literally cheated their way to win? ((And don’t even think about trying to bring Twix’s post up as an argument. His post is simply in reply to what has already been said. He did not engage or begin this topic, Infinity did, and he was simply supporting any and all arguments against Vendetta.))

First of all, I don't think its fair you judge an entire guild by the post of 1 member.

Second, let's say your a lvl 20 archer, and suddenly a lvl 40 fighter tracks you down and without notice attacks you, wouldn't the archer run? (and not just because he was kiting) I think its funny how people are suddenly cowardly when they try to escape the forces of a larger stronger army, is that suddenly what warring has become?

Second, I'm sorry, but so they can have multiple people attack Vendetta's lower levels, but when higher levels come out to war, everyone disappears? That makes no sense whatsoever. You don't attack and run multiple times only when it benefits you.

How is what vendetta did any differant? Their lvl 6X's attacked our 50's and their 7X's attacked our 60's? We killed whoever we possible could, and left because if we didn't I'm sure we would've never been able to leave (Not going to say why cause of possible blacklist)

To all those saying that its "cowardly" to run and fight and in the same sentence say "its ok to be cookied up, its part of the game" just amaze me, first off.

Secondly, lets not all get so po'd over one lil post. I mean, for all those in Vendetta saying that Envy is "wrong" for posting a thread about Envy's Victory over Vendetta need to grow up. It's something Envy should be proud of, not many guilds can say they have beat Vendetta (no matter how they've tried) and I see plenty guilds posting KQaccomplishments with only 5 ppl in Honeying and stuff like that. Why? For the same reason we ar getting hated on bye (mostly) Vendetta people.. attention. All it is is displaying accomplishments, dont get so worked up about it.

It was already known that if Vendetta's stronger side were to come, then Envy would have no chance of winning. AFK killing and town warping is frowned upon, but there is NO rules in Guild Wars. My level 52 mage was fighting Kawaii, a level 69 cleric with 3500 hp, and then another level 50 mage came and helped. My magic blast with a +9 wand did 400 damage, and Kawaii's trip did 1400 to me.

The fact that 3 more people came from gob camp to help, and that kawaii still didn't die, shows how fair a 15 level difference is in fighting.

The ENTIRE GUILD WAR, all I saw was James_Owned_Mage and Kawaii.

Simply put, it is much harder to get points on Envy, as they have so few members to kill. At the same time however, we had 27 members online, many under 50 (like 10) and over 20 under 60, who James can magic blast over 2000 damage (1 hit) and rack up some easy points.

Since my mage is only level 52, me and a friend looked around roumen, eld, pvp areas, abyss, gob camp, cp, ect. Never did i spot a envy member under 60, until the GW was over, and 5 were in eld :(

Oh yes, Envy won, but how? I think the public should know truthfully. First not only were they to scared to fight in the open, but they couldnt do it on there own. They had to get help from outside forces, in the Abyss. They decided to attack people while they were fighting monsters, get others to do the dirty work for them, spam killing, and vendor killing. This is how they won. After they got enough points they all gathered in one area, where they could not be attacked. Yes this is how they did it. Yes that is the only way, anyone says anything else and they are lieing directly to your face. Kinda Like James and Kawaii did to everyone in Abyss.

First of all, I never called Vendetta big bad guys for killing lowbies in a WAR. Because, as I stated, all is fair in war as long as its under the ToS. And I'm sorry sauer, but mine and your definition of unfair seems to be different. And thats ok, because the term is relative. I guess, just dont war us if you don't want an "unfair" war. Nothing is clean in war. If you want some clean pvp, go to FBZ1 where it should be clean, or abyss. A war is just that... a war. (BTW, I've seen Vendetaa not keep it "clean" in those areas plenty)

May I remind you that most of the time Envy has warred us, or has that departed from your mind? I'm guessing that it was, because you don't even mention the parts of how they warred us, and have done the same unfair tactics. 'Nothing is clean in a war'. In war, there is no rules, but when you do certain things in said war, it gives you a bad reputation. Do realize that. Let me explain this to you. They said Vendetta hasn't lost to a war yet, because it was the truth, but now we lost. TECHNICALLY it was a win by the game's eyes, but to many, it was unfair. No one in Vendetta isn't going to trigger off all because of that little 'statement', else they'll be truly childish. That is NOT the real reason of this fuss, but many people here just hate how dirty tactics are used, despite the fact it is allowed. (Again, frowned upon. I don't know why any guild would want to build a bad reputation.)

However, I do not blame you for making that assumption, so I'll refrain myself to complain about...'that'.

o.o i never said u did. that's why i dint say you did, the first part, as i said before, was what i understood from the previous post. The rest was of my opinion.
As Ive stated over and over, win or lose, i don't care, its how it is earned that irks me. I just don't like it when people play dirty, that's just me.

Alright. So, Tauro, you basically made a generalized statement about Vendetta members, you realize this, correct? That we're big headed, arrogant, etc. Mmm.... let's see... so you know absolutely every single person that intimately, eh? That you could sum them all up in two words, every single person... collectively, as a whole... and individually... confident/big headed...

That disappoints me greatly. I can name quite a few people who are quite literally the sweetest people I've met that are in Vendetta.

Now to address other statements made...

Yes, many of the posts are from Vendetta, but let's look at these posts, shall we?

A majority of them say the exact same thing-- the war was unfair, and won by dishonorable means.

A majority of them say that this post shouldn't even be up still, because it's an INSULT, and a blatant disregard of manners and correct behavior.

And not even all of your "supporting" vote are even from your guild-- and you know what, some of them simply supported you because you "beat" Vendetta.

Let's face it, people wanted to see Vendetta lose, and you know what, they did, but by under NO circumstances was it a fair gained loss. Who CARES if we actually lose for good reason? I don't. I really, honestly don't care. But I DO care when it's a loss that was gained by the aforementioned means.

And that, my dear, is what I'm "Just Saying." And if anyone is actually going to reply to this, please look to my former posts... they sum up what I know/feel in a nutshell, and I'd really not like to have to dig up quotes from there later.
