thank you for the web address... i hadn't looked in the forums... but why more data backups they did them last week too.

They do the data backups just in case there's a problem and they have to roll back the server info. The last time they did a roll back, there was a major cash shop glitch where people could purchase an item once, and it basically copied and pasted into their inventory, so they could have more than one of the same item. Some people used that to buy enhancement stones and enhance weapons at the cost of 1 stack instead of the 2 or 3 it might have taken per weapon otherwise. They were able to enhance many weapons with 1 stack of perfects. Because of that, OS rolled everyone's exp, inventory, etc. back to the previous maintenance when they'd had the data backup.

I would imagine it's also a safeguard against a major server crash that wiped the main computers on their end. They'd have a lot of angry people if something happened and everyone's accounts were wiped. :O

Typically outspark,they started to add a 1MB patch each 3 weeks...

There were a few things done which most of the time aren't really worth mentioning to everyone. Though we did do an emergency fix for the Abyss issue that we were having.

Client-side patches aren't performed weekly.
