I learned my lesson about promising that puzzles will be extremely difficult. I think I will wait until I actually stump you guys first.

Either it has been redeemed or the puzzle becomes inconsistent. I saw and caught the pattern but some of the other letters don't add up.

Perhaps this one is actually too hard.

I will give a hint, and if it is still too hard I will give another hint.

Hint: While translating the letters there is a code, but this code gets overridden when there are two letters that are the same in one word.

I got it. I'd say it took me about an hour and a half, since I was half asleep already when I started working on it. Went to bed thinking about it, and had it figured out in 5 minutes when I got up. >< That was fun. :)

well i still find it difficult.I think I got the pattern but that two letters overriding it is giving me hard time.I'm also getting this feeling that one of the letters is an exception...

EDIT:YES! I GOT IT! At first I thought that the codes were all redeemed but i finally got it.No letter is an exception.Guess It's all thanks to Bribbo's hint XD

First I tried to do it without the hint and got a pattern and finally the hint got me an answer!Took me 5 minutes to get the pattern and an hour to get the final code.This was really fun!

LoL! Whops guys, I accidentally used the code for the rations for the pet mount. I am not sure how that happened, however I am very embarrassed :o

I am having the data person (who is very busy) check on the coupon code one more time, and when he gets back to me I can tell you guys if there are any left.

In the mean time, one last hint that should help those people who are stumped is:

1) a = z b = y c = x d = w, etc
2) Yet, when there are two letters in the same word it will translate to a certain letter that you see a lot.
3) However, watch what happens when there are three letters in the same word, like in the word "sentence". Then, keep that in mind when translating the three "b"s in Bribbo.

There is a chance that all coupons have been redeemed, so as soon as I get the data on it I will post how many are left. Currently there is still no difference in the message between a coupon that is incorrect or expired.

Yeah I figured out the #1 part last night. It's #2 and #3 that have me saying huh? lol I'm still determined to figure it out! has to be something I'm not getting...

EDIT: I think I got it? If I'm right the coupons are used up. If I'm wrong...I've no clue what else it could be lol

Just found out that all the coupon codes have been redeemed.

To see if you had the right answer: the coupon code was "eireyl".

It was not case sensitive, so as long as you had the words right, it would have worked if there was still coupons left.

The reason it was eireyl was because:

1) When two of the same letters were in one word, both of those letters would translate to the letter "e". But if there were three letters in one word, the first two would become the letter "e" for each of them, but the third letter would be translated normally. An example of this was how the word "sentence" translated to "heegemxv". There are 3 of the letter "e" in that word so the first two became "e"s while the last one translated normally to a "v".

2) With that rule in mind, the three "b"s in Bribbo will become an "e" for the first "b", another "e' for the second "b" but a normal "y" for the third one. The rest of the letters translate normally because they are not duplicates, making the answer, "eireyl" or "Eireyl" whatever you prefer.

I am still trying to decide if this puzzle was too hard or not. You guys did get all the coupons in about twenty four hours after posting. I am curious about what you guys think. Was the difficulty okay?

"eiemhoev" has 8. I couldn't figure out why there wasn't an extra 'e' to make it "eiemhoeev"
I got hung up on that lol but decided to ignore that and focus on the 3 letters.

How I did it was

English: This sentence will translate to this
Gibberish: Gsrh heegeexv dree eiemho_ev gl gsrh
Literal Translation: This svvtvvce wivv vrvnsl_ve to this

I made the mistake of thinking the pattern was between the gibberish and literal 'ev' and the 3rd letter would be flipped 've' so that instead of 'eireyl' I had 'eirevl' I should have known better lol

That was totally my fault. On the handwritten version I did, I had "translate" correctly changed to "eiemhoeev" not "eiemhoev" but I must have messed up when typing it.

I triple checked this thing before posting but I didn't catch that. I am very sorry!

Bribbo, with so many clues its gonna be effortless. Its too obvious! With only the previous hint, i took nearly 20minutes to figure out the translation.

Btw, i appreciate the rations more than the weapon repair :P

This was a good puzzle, i actually had to think for a few minutes . lolz i did this one on my tea break at work and my co workers were intrigued enough to give the problem a try. it was really fun for all of us. we might be using puzzles like this for team building excersise

For the new people who came across the puzzle, the codes have ran out already. So even if you put in the correct code, the message you will get won't be different than if you were to put in an incorrect code.
