3X Clerics I need some advice

Exp has almost come to a stop since I hit 30, it just takes too long to kill stuff. The new weapon has helped things a lot since 29 but still its not that great. So far the only way of gaining xp that I have found to work is getting in a party but even that sometimes doesnt help. Is it possible to gain semi normal exp while soloing as a cleric? My build is +25 end and the rest in spr. I have all updated skills...advice would be greatly appreciated. If you are not atleast level 30 please don't answer because you most likely havent hit this point.

ya, start to solo in vine tomb, get str rings to help with your damage. it takes a long time. once you hit about 35-36 you can also solo in Goblin camp. you might have to use aim scrolls, and id suggest vit and mentality scrolls as well (just so you dont have to heal yourself as often)

Clerics level slow. Period. The main benefit is that we don't require a lot of stones/potions to keep going. I almost never use my mushroom house when soloing, and I don't spend much at all on stones, compared to other classes.

I'll agree with Semaj, as well. Vine Tomb is the place to be. At level 36, I did some testing, and my very rough estimates came out that VT was roughly 10% more exp per hour compared to Goblin Camp. The drops are better in Goblin Camp (Tier 2+Tier 3 drops...VT only has Tier 2), but you use more stones, and the kills take slightly longer.

I'm 38 now. I did basically the entirety of level 36 and 37 during 3x exp in Vine Tomb the other day. A total of about 4 hours, if I recall correctly. So that's 6 hours per level, roughly, with "normal" experience. Not fast..but it's profitable enough.

A full group, chain pulling in CP gives me roughly 3 times the experience rate that I gain solo in Vine Tomb. Something like 18k per hour compared to ~50k per hour. Now that you're over 30, a CP group is a definite option. There's an abundance of Clerics on every server though, so don't be surprised to get shut out. Heh.

I dunno.. maybe i haven't spent enough time as one of the 'fast leveling' classes.. but i feel like i level just fine.. quests take you to about 1/2 of the way to the next level, then it's grinding after that.. but i'm usually always busying myself with filling licenses and gathering materials to notice the speed.

I hit level 38 last night, and i'll hit 39 in about an hour or so.. i'd say it was only about 4-5 hours of actual play time to do it.. most the other time was spent helping others, or doing a KQ or two. (only got Xp for one robo)
