How has everyone been?

Wow... it's been just about 6 months since my sudden and unexpected departure from Isya, your world has changed so much... that seems long, but in actuality it seems a lot longer to me... it feels like i've been gone a year...

Before anyone wants to jump up and down, hands raised in the air, pointing fingers at me... yes, it's really me. If you don't believe me, it's fine...

Since so many of you are asking (as evidenced by my flooded email inbox, unanswered offline IMs, messages on social networking sites, etc) I left because I wasn't proud of some things i had done, ashamed actually... I violated the faith that some people, who shall remain nameless (speculate all you want, I will not reveal them), instilled in me... They trusted me and I let them down. Those friendships meant a lot to me and knowing that I could no longer face these people with a clear conscience, I made myself vanish. I have already since apologized to them, but there's no repairing the self-created hole in my heart. To those that were affected after my decision to leave, I'd also like to apologize to all of you. I let you guys down too. There was zero closure in the way i left, i regret that, but it was necessary for me.

I'm pretty sure that i'll get a few posters saying that, "oh, it's okay... we knew something must have been wrong..." but it's not okay... and yet, it was my only course of action... i left a lot of people up in the air, if you'd like to bash me, that's fine, it's deserved.

for those of you relatively new to the game, just know that i was one of Fiesta's most diehard players, an active member of the community, and a guardian to all that the GMs championed... any criticisms i had of the game were of a technical nature, usually laced with a bit of my own brand of humor. i never doubted the GMs abilities over the forums and always stood beside them.

My home was Bijou... my families: MarshMallows, NoMercy, ChaoticEmbrace, and for a day, Ryekaryn. My main character was a Mage named FatalLace, 99.9999% of the time, I was in good spirits and very approachable to anyone who wanted to chat...

From time to time, I would come, anonymously, to the Outspark forums and just do a search of my name... vain, maybe.... but I wanted to see what was being said about me and to check on friends who've probably since forgotten me... i never posted anything, but just read the comments...

It was really nice to see someone carrying on the "Fiesta Magazine" idea... I read that there was some animosity about the idea being 'copied' from me... to tell you the truth, it's an honor... imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?... well there you go.... i wish you folks the best, it's a LOT of work, I hope you're up for it... feel free to even use the title if you want, i hold no legal trademark over it obviously... i quickly scanned through the thread though, so honestly, i haven't read it and am unable to critique it...

Well, hopefully this isn't considered a 'goodbye' post, since really, it's not... i do ask the powers that be to not close this thread, but if u must, u must... i understand.

I think her... and the Cypion race. so many people were rooting for them to win and thought it was going to happen. Then I remember watching the unofficial leaderboard getting the rumour you had suddenly dropped out and quit. It really seemed to hit hard with the community. I think you even made it as an honourable Fiestian. I hope that you stick around at least in spirit on the forums. You had the cool avvy with the King Crab right? Sadly, that's all I can really remember about you. And the summer I joined asking you how you got it and you telling me it was for being part of the magazine staff.

hmmm... that "Fatal" you speak of, on Cypion, is not me... though I think i knew him as W0nderer and FatalAxe on Bijou... he made looking up my own name a bit more difficult when i did forum searches though since a lot of people referred to me as "Fatal" as well... i was confused too, so i can imagine why you're mistaken... between him, me, and that fighter skill, it made searches messy...

Naw man the skins are modeled after the real Teva weapons she was one of the top mages in Bijou so maybe she borrowed it for the sig or had one her self. She was also extremely good at making siggys look at Finalizers epic siggy he still has it after all this time cuz its made by Fatal her siggys are epic and special :D

If i recall correct there was a time when couple really rare (Teva or Valentines weapons) were given by GMs as prize for victory in events.
However i can't remember now whitch kind of event was. forum or in game.

Ive done quite a simulair thing at another place where i was very active behind the scenes as part of the crew and on the field as well.... leaving ppl just like that behind and dissapear.. I feelt bad about it but like you said i saw no other way at that time and needed to go. I went back there and i have been judged... and been yelled at ofc not by the ppl that really mattered but yeah it still feels bad.. and yeah some ppl said its ok and yeah i didnt and still dont think its ok... but others have the right to say so not? so i understand a tat where you comming from altho i know no details.

PPl have there own reasons for doing certain things and to those that where close to you and that you feelt neccesarey to apologize to have gotten there apologize. That may not make right what you did but its basicly all you can do.And yes its ok... wheter you want to hear that or not...

Just be who you are and do what you think is best, everyone else would do the same thing in your position, do what they think would of been best wheter thats the same you did or not.

That was kristeen's (bijou) Teva staff.... i borrowed it for the day. The graphic glitched, that's why it looks unenhanced.

Okay first off,
I'M SO ANGRY NO ONE BOTHERED TO POINT THIS THREAD OUT TO ME.
(Though really it's my own fault for being a bit inactive on the forums lately ._.'')

Anyways,
I never really got the chance to know you, but like many others who have been around for a decent chunk of time, your name was well known and well respected. I think a lot of people were confused when you vanished, but I also think a lot of people can forget that there's a whole other reality out there besides the community here. Any world needs your time and dedication if you want to thrive in it, and no person is meant to live in two worlds at once, how could anyone be expected to? People who have enough spare time or balance in their lives, or people who need to escape from their real worlds for whatever reason, can do just that here and many people do escape from their realities into this "isyan-world".
But at the same time, can't people try to escape from this virtual reality back into the real one for the same reasons many leave it in the first place?

I hope you know that no one has the right to fault you for your decisions but yourself. And, the past is past, there's no use living in it when the present is happening all around you. We all make mistakes, but the wise learn from them and move forward. Just remember that, and be proud of who you are and what you believe in. That's what matters most, right?


Anyways, I'm glad you came back to at least check in. You were a very iconic member of both Bijou and the whole of Fiesta, and one who was held in very high esteem. Your presence was severely and dearly missed, so I hope you stop by a bit more often, even if you no longer have the dedication you once did.


I realize I'm rambling, rather horribly, especially since I never really got the chance to get to know you personally, but I will say the "imitation" if you want to call of that (because lets face it, is it), of the fiesta magazine to newsletter or whatever, should TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY be taken as flattery! ;D It was a killer magazine and I loved reading it each time you came out with a new issue! <3
I actually went and found some of the older copies of the magazine to look at when I went to go make the new pages/layout for this one. I don't think mine will ever look quite as awesome as yours though! But you can probably see a bit of the similarities in one quick glance (or more like a bit too much x.x)
And I have no idea how you were able to do it! It takes so much time and effort! I've gained a whole new level of respect for you and what you did, and I really need to find someone who can help me out with the graphics stuff. It's too much for one person... I don't know how you and your team handled it!


Anyways, now I've really gone overboard, so I'm going to shutup before people make fun of me for my horrible long wall of text.

FATAL!!! long time. very long time indead. maybe u remember me maybe u dont but i remember reading ur magazines and they were great :D also seeing u on the forums and just chilling and saying hi was great too :D but i could never figure out when u left. ( i took a little break in fiesta a while back probally b4 u left) but i came back and couldnt find ur magazines or anything... well ima stop rambling on and on and guess say that if u ever want to come back i know a lot of ppl maybe even 99.999% of the community will welcome u back with open arms. but anyways have a great time and hope u check in again :D

Thank you for those kind words, you're probably right... it may be 'water under the bridge' for those that i hurt, but i haven't forgiven myself yet and that's where i'd need to start.

Then hun, that maybe the best place to start.
Oneself is the centerfold to you. Even if others have forgiven you, I realize and understand that you can't forgive yourself.

Like I said hun, just take a deep breath. Take a look at the sunshine and enjoy life. But keep this in mind too sweetie. You seperate yourself from the people you love because you betrayed them. If it's really water under the bridge for them now, they'll understand if you feel you need to be away for a while. But while taking yourself out of the equation for a while, remember that you're also taking yourself away from them too.

So while time to yourself to think is good, remember the friends that are still waiting for you to return. Might not want to keep them waiting TOO long. <3
