Hi, welcome to Fiesta. I'm not sure about being a unique class since all the classes are pretty unique in their own way. To start off, I think it'd be best for you to join an academy to get some neat items and money. Aside from that, you can take a look at these links to help make your decisions if your going to stay in Apo. :) I hope they help!

nice post, renz. that should be quite helpful to anyone new.
As for being unique, the less played class, I think, is an archer. However, archers aren't as useful to a party as mages. It'd be easier to point you in the direction of a class if we knew your play style and what you like to do in games. For example, mage does a ton of damage but has low defense unless you are a cash shop abuser, fighter has high def and hp to take a beating unless you go str build which can also be combated with the cash shop, clerics heal and suck for damage, archers are good for kite aoe'ing. Also, different builds in each class will help accomplish different tasks. etc etc etc. There's just way too much to just say this is the class that's best for you.

hmm i would say if you are new to the game try a fighter, because they are the easiet class to play and level, however archers are the best imo :3

fighters are not the easiest to play trust me, when u get to higher levels and you have tpo do a lot of aoe tanking it becomes difficult, especially as your the one usually luring for hours and hours on end and having the party depend on you for this
after L51 archers are the easiest to level due to their kiting skills, easy to quest and gain lots of exp in a short amount of time

You forgot to mention Fighters are the most expensive.
Then it's probably Clerics, Mages and Archers as last. But that's not to say you won't be handing out a chunk of in game money anyways at later levels.
If you have the determination to be well respected, I'd say go Cleric. We need more Clerics who know what they're doing at levels lower than 80. Because honestly, the Tower has made it almost impossible for them to learn how to handle many different types of situations. I wouldn't recommend using the Tower to level, but most people get addicted to the fast xp.

Just be a fighter, get it to lvl50 or so then pick the class you like the most.

i totally agree with u taki, being na fighter is soo expensive
and yeah we need more non noob clerics, great high lvl'd clerics are hard to find and to become good at ur class it starts with being good at it at lower lvls :3

Fighters are expensive yes, but a good fighter can solo most bosses and get the drops (who convert into money) so it's only fair that the richer class pays the most for their gears.
As to the lack of good clerics, I totally agree. Blame it on the game, it's so easy even for a cleric to hit lvl70 by soloing. When the time comes to heal a big party they just can't handle it because they are not used to.

that is very true about clerics. when i play my fighters in lower lvl kqs and am tanking...no one heals me...really mess up....
if you are going to start out, cleric can save you alot of money. you can lvl well enough with even npc gears. plus, u get the advantage of exploring many more places than most class due to the fact that u can handle monsters waaaaaaay higher lvls than u
