ooh, ive been wanting to make a mage...but i wanna try to improve the class first....

about the huge amount of mp cost of spells, which is just right imo...

i was thinking... how about... increasing the amount of mp Herbs heal and also increase its drop rate among lower level monsters ... low enough to farm, high enough to help out the economy...

so you get herbs that weigh like 1 that heals like 60...but cost like 500 Krons each

so how bout it? any ideas or improvements?

Random but is a start. The herbs you are referring to are...
Lemon Balm --- 5 mp
Marjoram --- 10 mp
Savory --- 20 mp
Basil --- 25 mp

It just so happens that those items are auto drops through JKey's and Jaypee's quests. I agree having them heal more mp would be an improvement. Making them heal the same as their hp counterparts would be great.

Tangerines --- 85 hp
Cheese --- 90 hp
Butter --- 95 hp
Salt --- 100 hp

I agree, making them more online with the hp is a good idea. I already farm a lot of the hp items to use in solo aoe on my rogue. The fact that they weigh less and heal more than a tiny pot make them a great choice for a weight challenged class. Add the fact that they autodrop and cost only the time it takes to collect them and they are even more attractive. I don't usually bother with the herbs, although for the fighter and rogue who have a realatively smaller mp pool they might not be that bad, but if they made them restore 50 mp or more they would be well worth farming.
