Kiting in a party (complaint)

I am currently closing in on 7x for the SECOND time with an archer, and am sick of having to leave parties right after I join them.

I have to leave because most people expect me to do all the hard work for them. If you are not a cleric, don't party me and then say 'just kite'. A fighter or mage can do next to nothing to help if they want me to just keep running.

I'll pull mobs for the party, I'll even tank a few at a time if need be. But don't run up to me as a fighter and expect to just put me on follow while I run around and kill for you.

I 'just kite' when I'm solo, or with a cleric. If there is a fighter or a mage, I will gladly pull so they can nova/deva the mobs. But if you expect me to just do all the work for you, aside from a random m.burst, no way.

honestly when doing repeats most the time its quicker to kite i just let ppl put me on follow least that way they arnt taking mobs from me

if u dont want to kite get the mobs take them to the fighter and frantically pot/stone and cross ur fingers till they get the message ^^

it used to bother me that ppl always expect u to kite even in a mixed pty where quite frankly the fighters cant do much but follow but i soon realised its usually quicker to just carry on kiting tho one time i got a bit annoyed i was with a fighter and kiting he said shall i put u on follow and just get the drops i said sure yeah then after a while i realised he wasnt picking up any drops he had gone afk without telling me i thought ok maybe he has just nipped off for a min but after 10/15 mins he still wasnt back so i ran thro some mobs till they went off me and onto him and just stood and watched him die ...very satisfying :D

I don't really mind kiting for a party because I want the whole map. It makes my quest a lot easier and done faster. But there are some ups and down to it though. The other day I was told to stop running because one member felt useless. D:

Mobbing ain't that bad if you have a mage, but if you haven't play with that mage before, it's kind of hard since you don't know when/if they going to nova, so you better have pots/stones ready. I end up dead pretty much when they ask to mob instead of just kiting and then don't do their part right D:

It's actually been faster for the 8x repeats to have a mage and fighter in the party than to kite all those monsters. D: Kite them back to the fighter, and get him/her fighter to mock the mob, and the mage can drop nova and inferno on them while the archer uses NM and PS on them. We usually end up waiting for the respawns, we kill them so fast.

I'll do as much work as the others in the party. If that means killing 1 or 2 at a time, that's all I kill. I only kite for my hubby, friends, and guildies. I expect some help mobbing if I'm going to kite with anyone else, and usually they figure that out pretty quick when you have to kill 200 monsters and it's taken 5 minutes to get 10. -.-
