mentioning/showing a victim counts blacklisting?

Their choice was to commit the act. Not a victim.

There will be no blacklisting of persons or groups by name on the forums.

I'm sure I don't have to explain the reason for my closing this, but I think I will anyway. Not only is it blacklisting, but in many ways can that post and pointing an individual out, be considered as harassment. This kind of thing isn't going to be tolerated when it's done intentionally, as it was here.

If you think that it's alright to do this kind of thing, you're quite wrong, and we CL's will start being a lot more authoritative about this kind of issue if somehow you think breaking the rules is something you won't get punished for. We're fairly lenient but if you want to take advantage of that we can take that away too.

I'm really hoping not to see this kind of thing in this section again for a while from users with higher post counts, seeing as with that higher post count comes some acknowledgement or awareness of the rules here in the forums. Moreso is this the case if you've been involved in moderation previously or close associates of you have been.

Long story short: Stop intentionally breaking the rules. If we have to take this to a more serious note, we will. I don't want that to happen though, so please stop this.
