Warning- this is not a happy camper - mostly this is about how the game has evolved from something more enjoyable ( to me anyway ) to it's present state. In days long gone, there were no frequent annoying push to buy from the cash shop, the game was challenging for low level characters, for example- most of the mobs were agro and more were required to finish the quest- I seem to recall having to do 20 of mobs instead of 5, evidence of this is the quest requireing 5 phinofly and 10 hairpins - used to be 20 and 10.
and 20 fire mushrooms and a mushroom fighter( all the while dealing with aggresive blue slime) To get from Elderine to Uruga, it was a good idea to know a 50+, else you died into town. The only way to PvP was to be in a guild. and there were rules in effect about what was considered proper behavior- ie: no- shroom killing, no killing just as you respawned, wars only in town- preferably in the arena. It meant something to have guild allies. there
used to be events in open areas where a GM would spawn mobs or chests.
now they seem to be in the battle zones- where anyone wishing to participate has to deal with the PvP. I for one feel PvP is a waste of time and resources... there is too much disparity between the classes and no rules are enforced. I see the same glitches not being addressed and more attention paid to whats currently on sale in the cash shop- the running glitch has been toned down, but still happens, still get disconnected going thru portals at times. I used to buy from the cash shop now and then- one suggestion - instead of the iron box being the 2 pages it is - provide
pages like the ones for rewards or cash shop purchases. I notice they seem
to go on quite aways - alto i doubt anyone ever fills even the first page.
In closing- These are just my opinions- I'm sure many of the current players are happy with the way things are now. but once upon a time the game was more fun.

:) I've found playing high level is not as much fun as the low characters-
for one thing, if you get killed doing most of the low quests, the reward from completing the quest usually covers the loss- grinding at high level is just that... grinding- buying Teva is a necessity if you are serious about leveling.

I have to be honest, I read that entire thing and all I really got from it is that you aren't happy with how things are in comparison to what they were.

He's right, things were more fun and better back then, now it's just all about the cash shop....

completely agree with the op ive not been playing as long but well over a year now and things have changed so much yes there have been some gr8 additions to the game but overall the type of game this has become is no longer somethign i would recommend to friends... in fact i would warn them off it
i know the community has increased greatly in size and with that you are going to get more players who are hmmm a pain in the *** :p but it seems the direction the game has been heading in the last year or so is almost encouraging this side of the community to misbehave
with leader boards for kill points, relaxing the lvl limits of the abyss and the sheer amount of game unbalancing items in the cash shop pvp in this game is now mainly for those with the biggest wallets and usually bigger egos, its no longer a fun aspect of the game unless u are prepared to spend quite alot of real money we all know of players who drip sc and are complete ******* and its these type of players who the game seems to cater to more and more and with so many younger players its these *powerful* players they look up to and want to b like its become a downhill spiral
but os is a business these ppl say if it wasnt for us big spenders there wouldnt b a game to play and i completely agree but there are many items that could b released in the cash shop that ppl would buy that dont unbalance game play so much and imo cause alot of the drama here
we can all see exactly what os plan is with the tower and its stupidly high exp removing agro from mobs in lower lvl areas and the pushing of cs items and more pvp we all know the aim is to get ppl to as high a lvl as possible spending as much money as possible, gd business sense maybe but in the process they have changed the whole feel of fiesta from a fun challenging community type game to soemthing hmmm honestly not so nice where its each man for himself, a newcomer to the game can spend a shed load of cash and get high lvl and powerful in a very small amount of time selling gifts for gold which rly should b monitored much more closely they soon become rich ig buying the best equipment and being constantly sc up to the eyeballs they can happily play this way often with little actual skill and all it teaches the newer players is buy more sc items if u want to b like this guy
i love this game i really do but i loved it more how it used to be, im not at a point where i want to quit it just seems such a shame that a game that started off so great and had so much potential has become what it is now with less and less players remembering how it was and how great it could have been

Too bad the CEO of Outspark doesn't think like this (Fiesta would be more fair/balanced/fun/progressive game if he/she did). This is one of the more better post I've read conceptionally since I've been a member on these forums. As it show's a trend of how the current game is taking it's toll.
Though nothing will change unless people quit buying sparkcash (myself included), however that might be the case with all these BLOWOUT sales events they are handing out to try and get people to spend more.

I wish there was more Game Management - you've no idea how much I miss GM Steam dropping a dragon in town to silence the goldspammers for a half hour or so.
there- that wasn't a wall of text.. sorry no pretty pictures for those with short attention spans.

I see it takes three or four tries to get into roumen - don't suppose it has anything to do with the hacks of the goldspammers that outspark refuses to take action about.
apparently GMs or CSRs are immue to whispered spams or don't notice the characters with odd names popping in and out delivering their message.

Only one thing really bites me about alllllllllllllllll the new features in this game.
Repeat quests.
Level 30s, 40s, even 50s do not need nor deserve them. (However, when you need a few million experience to level, the repeats make it just a bit more bearable xD.) All of us older players grinded that out, and the fact that everyone can just breeeeeeeeze their way to the top is disgusting.
It leads to unskilled, ****y players, and it's just plain unfair. There is a much smaller sense of unity, and there is a dying community due to the lack of parties, people choosing to solo the repeats, sometimes duo, etc.
Fiesta isn't just about levels, it's about growing as a person; hell, some of the people I've met in this game I've met in real life, we still hang out, we're friends on Facebook, you name it. I wouldn't know a lot of really incredible people if I just soloed my way to 86.
(&What I wouldn't do for another boss event haha, I still have the Spider KQ quest to do! I miss GM involvement on a side note :C)

yes it gets laggy - but is that any reason to move things like Christmas event to free battle zone where you can get killed while opening a chest as opposed to OX field?
at it's outset, the game inspired co-operation. but that was 2007, now its all about spending money for sparkcash and everyone for themselves. maps were changed to make it painless to get levels, argo was removed - mobs were removed- going thru some maps is like traveling thru a deserted village. GM presence is definately lacking- at times it seems that despite what outspark says- the goldspammers are integral to their economy- you need gold - we won't stop you from seeing these website- nothing we can do to stop them advertising after all.

GM's and CSR's are rarely playing Fiesta. They have their job to do as a GM...
Whenever you see GMs in game, its their free time. Many of the GM events are by GMs(but the events are not their job/duty.they just care for players)

If it was in OX field then only a few people would be able to get items.
A limit was later introduced in the zones for the event.
BTW,the things were removed to make it easy for the lower levels to level up and they just don't leave the game if they find it difficult. Its a very common thing seen in MMORPGs.Leveling gets tougher as you level.
In fact,I rarely used the quests to level up to level 20
as for the gold spammers,it doesnt really affect OS's economy much.

yea os and the cash shop have been going downhill for a while now...if you wanna be top of anything you need to spend almost hundreds of dollars a month to do it...i swear people pay like 5-10 times the amount of money for a "free to play" game like this than what it costs for a p2p subscription game that has more/better content

and that is exactly the problem and why so many ppl complain, by the time we get to the point where cs is practically a necessity we have usually been here quite a while, love playing fiesta and have a gr8 many friends here, its hard to tear urself away from that, so we feel cheated/ripped off as there comes a point that to continue playing /enjoying fiesta it becomes more money than many better p2p games u ahve to b prepared to stump up alot of cash or say goodbye to alot of time and effort
