Need ideas on best way to give away Moppyn and Moppen's gear

Hi everyone.

I'll be giving away Moppen's gear (lvl 101 fighter) and Moppyn's gear (lvl 83 cleric). I don't need to sell it for IG money because it will be as useful to me as monopoly money is at Walmart.

Could I please have your thoughts on the best way to do this? I want to do it fairly and in a way that limits my need to log into Fiesta as much as possible.

I'm even thinking of just passing it to someone that I know and trust and just letting them deal with it. I think this might be the best way to do it but I wanted input first.

Ahh Moppy... this is sad to read, but I think you're going about it in the right way.

I don't really have any suggestions... unless you know of anyone you've seen on your journey who you feel should have the pleasure of using such gears, and they continue to be passed down? If you need any help I'd do what I can. Best of luck and love to you.

but ur probably better off just hanging on to them incase u decide to come back 1 day.

You should be the first to give some stuff to the less fortunate, who cannot afford the ridiculous prices of today. Most people who quit seem to give their gear to people who are already rich and/or already have the gear that they need. Then there are people like me who can barely afford one thing and I know there are others who can't even afford that much.

Nah, I don't know, I'd honestly just say do what you feel is best and give them to people who you know deserve them and who have helped you a lot in game. That's what I would do. No need to give your stuff away to strangers. I think whatever you decide will be the right thing. But I'm still sad that you're gone.

Honestly, I would suggest what everyone else is suggesting... Don't give your stuff away, you've earned them, you've spent money on them, they are rightfully yours. If for some reason in the future, you decide you want to start playing again, you'll still have everything that you had before, and not need to start from scratch... Nobody is going to lose out if you keep them.

Seems how you agree with me, I'd gladly take any 95 fighter stuffs you have and/or a hellgait :P might give me a reason to play my fighter again.

Ok tbh, leaving them on your character is a pretty big waste. Well I mean as long as you never plan to come back. Those are items that could be circling Fiesta.

But.. giving them all to one person is like.. Eh boils down to economics and stuff. If a rich person gives all their stuff to another rich person.. youre not helping to bridge the middle class o,o But if you give it to a poor person its only making another rich guy >.>

Why not do what Gaara did? Post what you have, and have people reply back with why they would want it. I think he actually didnt give things to people if they said they were gonna sell it or something, so to the people who can actually use it.

But it just seems a waste. Alot of people quit and give their stuff just to their friends, who who is really gonna miss them? Half the people they gave their stuff to, thats who, and prolly not even them because theyll just be like "woohoo got some free thign i sold for 50g yes!"

I think you should give it awhile before you give out your gears though. Who knows, maybe you will decide to come back =3. Who else am I gonna randomly bump into and go " MOPPY!!! xD"

I am pretty sure you would be in a guild, right? I am not positive but most people like us at high levels are. Why not sell all the gear and donate the proceeds to your guild. This way it would trickle down to many and eliminate the need to decide who gets what. ~

In the relatively short time since I decided to 'take a break', things have been better. My relationship with people that I care about that had been strained is better. Unfortunately goodbyes have been said too. Hey, can't have everything... I learned that the hard way.

To those that don't want me to quit, and don't want me to part out Moppen's gear... ok(ish). I'm not going to come back but it doesn't cost me any time or aggravation to just leave things as is. For now... to be honest I still see myself giving things away at some point in the future, but out of respect for my friends I'll put that thought on hold for now.

For what its worth, those who were hoping to score a hellgait from me? Well, lol on that thought. I seriously went from 90 to 101 using an NPC axe. Just ask those who asked to see my weapon and dropped jaw when they realized I wasn't kidding.

I guess as long as I still intend to pop on and say hi I should keep my gear... no one ever saw Seras naked. ^^

This game was ridiculous Moppen :p
In the end it's your decision if you want to keep your gear or give it out to lower friends like I did who benefitted from it..it's the ones who don't ask that appreciate it more.

No one ever saw Seras anyway..but they sure as hell see Icchi naked ;)
