When you see a bot in-game, do you take the time to capture some screen shots and report them to a GM? If not, I would like to know why so I can possibly help. If your problem is something that can be fixed that makes it that much more helpful to Fiesta. To all the users who do take the time to report rule-breakers, I encourage you to also help out other users.

Reporting them is useless....they will be back no matter what you do..banning a few chars isn't even going to phase them.
I must disagree. Reporting a bot if it is level 30 (and it gets banned) has a great impact.
EDIT: What is your IGN on Bijou?
I am actually working on a character directly linked to this account. If I can stop any unwanted visitors from even knowing something of value in this account, I'd like to keep it that way. When I start working on another character I'll let you know.

Option 6: No, I used to, but I've never seen it do any good.

I do as much as I can - even the low leveled ones. Any bot gone from the game is good enough for me. Sure, they can remake the character and begin again, but it hinders their progress significantly. Especially nailing those 40+ Cleric bots.
Some of which I still need to get Steam on the case. >.>

To be honest I don't usually stare at people until they do something wrong XD
granted I wouldn't be able to take a screen shot anyhow because I don't know how but still...I never really notice people doing wrong or breaking the rules

Once you press print screen you can, of course, just go to MS Paint and "paste" the screen shot onto it.

Most bots just go to the closest mob and attack, regardless of whether anyone is already fighting it.
The best way to find out if it's really a bot, or just a rude player, is with a fighter. Kick their mob, and run away. They'll chase you for a very long time, most likely. :P
And, by the way, screenshots prove absolutely nothing. You could use fraps, I guess, but a picture won't really prove a thing. You can go around taking screenshots of people you don't like and claim they're a bot. Those pictures will provide just as much proof as taking a shot of a REAL bot.
The only way to catch bots is for a GM to watch them.
