Capped Archer vs. Capped Mage

I made an archer so my mage friend and I can pvp when we cap. Its a little competition really :P

So since I used to be a mage, I made an archer since I know that archers own mages (at level 22 I 3-hit a level 27 mage) which is why I chose an archer. I just have a few questions about stuff.

So the mage is full INT. Which would be the best archer build that would beat that type of mage? Also, which level 100 classes are there for archers, and which is best to defeat the mage?

And is an archer the best choice to defeat my friend's full INT mage? If not, any suggestions?

Archer would be the best choice to kill a mage at any lvl. I'd go with full STR or 25 SPR rest STR. My lvl 30 archer has full DEX and a full DEX mage at lvl 33 missed 2-4 hits. ;P I don't know how well full DEX would fare at higher lvls though.

Also... wrong section. I understand this section would get more views though, so I don't care much. ;o

uhm if you wanna beat the mage either go full spr or 25 spr rest str or full str, and on 100 you should go sharpshooter since Bow>xbow damagewise ^-^, or else do as the failarchers and go ranger ;c

Mages are scary. Mages say I'm scary because of my Evasion. I don't believe them x.x
I know a 95 archer that beat a 95-96ish mage that might have had +9 armor (I'd expect him to but o.O maybe not though). It was the most intense battle I've ever watched.
But yeah +9ed mage > +9ed archer at any level it seems like x.x can't +9 our mdef.. and Stifle is evil, along with Fear ._.

Wizards skrew us over in pvp if they know how to play, and pvping a warlock to dead can be endless,mezmorise every 40secs ? For 20secs x.x

20secs heal time for both so if they failed to kill you the first tine it just starts over again, not to mention all their other immobolising sklls ><

SS pvp skills > Ranger pvp skills
Ranger Pve > SS Pve
Ranger awesome Skills(hide/entangle) > Ss awesome skills

umm sharp shooters can use slow shot and what ive been told can hit people from a huge disistance aslong as they have the dipper target on them

It all depends on the player's tactic, gears, and build.
But yea overall :
Mage > Archer (if both have same qualities, and after lvl 100)
Archer > Mage (below lvl 100, most time, unless the archer doesnt have good mdef or evasion)

But if u wanna make an archer that can beat mage or at least survive from their combos :
1. Get end/dex/spr gears, mix the end/dex and end/spr on helmet n boots since they only have 2 stats.
2. Most mages doesnt have high aim, so if u having dex in your build, it would help. Try to figures out a good build yourself lol.
3. Get a Helga weapon if you can, to fix your dmg, since you dont have much str from gears n build (if you are dex build).
4. If you really desperate to win againts a mage, then use "Charm" lmao.

I beat higher level archers with their extenders on with my mage :/ so what?
at 100 with those mages skill I dont think archer would stand a chance but I dunno about archer skills

Lol my 50 Mage never died agains any Archer, I wonder why ;P?


And Sorry lvl 10x archers can't beat Mages 10x. Mages 10x are the strongest PvP'ers in game :).
