I've said this in other threads, to no comments. The times for the matches are just... well they're odd.
7-9pm OS time. This is 11-1am East Coast time, and 3/5am-5/7am EU time.
I'm EU and I'm really disappointed by this. Quite simply, I cannot stay up until 5am to play a match... neither can half my guild. So... say your argument to this is: well we're not catering for EU, so tough ;). Ok... fair enough. I'll have to deal with it, be disappointed and wait for screenies of what it looks like instead of being able to take my guild there myself.
Then... I ask of you. Who on East Coast is going to stay up until 1am to play matches when, especially on Sunday, they have work/school the next day. Quite simply it is too late.
My suggestions:
-Have a two week time rota so that all people from differing timezones may be able to enjoy Guild Tournament. i.e. Week 1, matches = 7-9pm PDT, Week 2, matches = 1-3pm PDT, next week is Week 1 again.
-Or, simply make the time earlier. Especially on Sunday... or the finals will be a joke, most people will be asleep by then with the exception of those that actually live in PDT timezone.
Thanks for reading. Hopefully if this can be considered, Guild Tournament will be accessible to a wider range of people :).

i definatley agree with this. I think im eastern time lol, and on sundays i sleep at 10:00 and when i do stay up i never stay up past 12:00am. so they should really reconsider times. Also I thing guild tournaments should be on a weekday not weekend... Many people have plans on the weekend.

I think they're catering to the fact that this is a game with kids so they must be in school during the week which would interfere with either being at school or needing to get up early in the morning.
I think weekends are better with that in mind.

I agree with OP. I'm all for doing it on weekends, but I think is too late, *especially* on a Sunday, when a large majority of the US players have school/work the next morning. It's all fine for the west coast players, but finals begin at 11:00PM here (WAY past my bed time :p).
Also, if really gearing towards kids that have school, they should know that it is unreasonable for them to stay up so late on a school night.

Regardless of the time that is set some people are going to be inconvenienced. As it is a US game, I am expecting that it would cater to it's largest base which should be players in the US and the Western Hemisphere.

Yes, I said I understood why I'd just have to deal with EU not being catered for. Really sucks, I looked forward to this, but oh well. However... 9pm isn't really catering for half of the US either, like most people on a Sunday night would be in bed 11pm or so due to having to wake up to work or go to school the next day.
Shifting the times a few hours back wouldn't be an issue surely, and would at least cater for allowing the entire of the US to attend.

yah hope too schedule get something like this

i wouldn't be totally able to join the actual schedule is 4-6amsunday,6-8am monday T_T
also i not agree with fact that As it is a US game, it would cater to it's largest base which should be players in the US and the Western Hemisphere.
like i think (at least in teva) like half server is EU and like we pay aswell to play i think all of us should be able to join it once to try it... so make schedule for tournament variable all weeks so all players can experience it

I like the changing schedule idea. For people who work weekends, they may never get to see a match. Same for people who work nights or sleep earlier. I'm on the east coast and I don't know if I'll ever participate in one... I tend to sleep around 10-11pm lately. The 10pm match I could do, but aren't finals when I'd really be needed? I'm usually not up at midnight.
So rather than having it same time/day every time, I like the idea of switching it up a bit. Week one Sat/Sun 7-9pm, week two Wed/Fri (or some such) 7-9pm, week three Sat/Sun 1-3pm, week four Wed/Fri 1-3pm. Or keep it only on weekends and change up the times every other week as she suggested.
Whatever the fix is, it needs to be changed a bit somehow.

I agree, the times should be changed to get more people participate to make this work. I mean look at Teva, not even 16 guilds sign up? :/ The times should be moved earlier into the day or way later.

I agree as well these times don't really suit anyone besides west coast players. Why can't we have a time like 1pm or 3pm OS time this would suit almost every single timezone of players that play the game. OS shoudl really look into this.

I agree that the times should chance. I would like to join it myself but with the times now it's impossible since I live in the Netherlands. The days are fine and I like the rotation idea.

ok lets see, i'm in the US central time zone, that makes up 1/4 of the population the game was intended for. as well as i'm in the age group that makes up 75% of the gaming population. this game is intended to be for people like me.
now lets see the times for the guild tourn.:
10PM sat.: acceptable
11PM sat.: getting late but i'm ok with that
10PM sun.: most my friends would be asleep right now but i do tend to stay up late
11PM sun.: even i would be asleep at this time
nope, i dont see how it's gonna work.
they need to move it back at least 5 hours, make it the same time they make all the events. i dont understand why they make events at a specific time, yet they make this guild tourn. a whole different time...

OMG I was looking forward to my 1st guild match tomorrow until i realized its at midnight for me. And I live in Florida..... *sigh* if this was summer vacation i could make it but now, nope...
And also the finals of this weeks tourny are sunday at midnight again for me.... so if we win, i cant even make it to the next match. gotta wake up at 5:30 to get to school >_<

Lol... You know that's not very hard to make a plugin and set it on the game, with all that but, no need to scedual it.
Imagin sutch as gordon or any kq, you receive a item the winers ofc, and they go to a NPC and get their reward.
But you know if you get a good time I wont be a diference for me... I'm from portugal the times ARE WAY different from outspark time.
So, good luck i hope this is really the beta. Version of this Because, would be pretty good to have all this but in a way that you don't need the GM's to be present.
But you know what ? If there's no interferance lag in the tournemant im good with it.

I think there should be different time options for GT. Maybe once every month a GT some hours earlier or later. People from different time zones would be able to participate.
For me Sunday midnight is too much..... some ppl have to wake up early to work.

if finals are on saturdays then people from asian, australia, and new zealand won't be at work. Cause our sunday is their monday.
Prelims later on friday, then do tournament all day on saturday with the finals in the evening.
The times are an issue tho, my guild would have had more people participating if it had been even an hr earlier.
