okay to start off after seeing countless threads about people yelling that tower sucks because ____ i thought of a solution.

Most people are complaining because people don't learn their role as their class because of the tower quest xp... so i suggest enabling a "KQ Trainer" sort of idea...when people start a character, instead of putting them immediately in roumen put them in a kq sort of area where they learn what their class is about...

for fighter they learn to use skills like kick, mock, and how they help people with aggro

clerics will learn how to target and heal people/buff ect.. while healing npc's that are killing stuff in the said kq area...

mages will learn to target monsters and use skills effectively while not drawing aggro

archers will learn how to kite and and DoT effectively...

all said areas for each class would be in a kq setting with npc's and a couple monsters and the reward for finishing the quest could be some +'d equip or money to help them start off in the fiesta world

Or some sort of kq demo played during the loading screen, if possible. >.o

i was thinking about this idea for the past few days but i think it'd be good idea for some sort of class training doesn't have to be what i said but it would benefit everyone involved imo thnx for the feedback :)

That would be definately helpful to new players. Fiesta education demos in-game!! I like the idea. It could be somewhat short yet informative. I'd so vote for this -also I wonder how they might look like :D - ... though even if there will be some, they'd be at the site and not in-game... and most people don't even know where that is, I mean they register and download the game and expect to be fine without any additional knowledge about the game. Never ever check the site or the forums -only in rare cases, and even then they sometimes ask some funny questions -they are so cute - -

Anyhow class-education demos for the win!!!

There are many gameplay videos on youtube..

But you're basically suggesting that every new character has to learn to play a specific way...

i'm not saying they need to play that way but recently its gotten pretty ridiculous in the numbers of player who don't know the basics of their class ie. clerics not healing, fighters not kicking/mocking ect. i'm just suggesting they play a certain way i'm saying they need to learn their classes specialties per say so we don't see more of this happening and so ppl stop blaming 1 thing or another for it

and like baktwerel said a lot of players just dl the game and start playing without any prior knowledge of the games mechanics or classes

I think some kinda class specific training or even just general "how to play" scenario that just goes over the basics would be a good idea.

how long this kq will last? wont be a good idea if its too long

aso, at least let the new players to choose if he want to do it or not.

change the lv 20 job change for this

Yeah. I know guildies who make alts so we can get a GBuff going. It would get annoying if EVERY time they made one (me if I decided to make a new account) we had to go through this "KQ".

Perhaps make it optional.
Something like a training level you get at the begining of some video games where you can learn the basics, I think it'd be pretty good yeah.

there would be an option to skip it for people who had one or more characters already on their account, how bout something like that?or have a skipping option. the training area would make you do certain tasks like target this person, use this skill, heal this person(cleric), attract this mob(fighter), use wasd to move, ect. so it would only take a few minutes at the most

Ooh I'm liking the idea of the class-ed demo and kq demo. If this were a petition I'd sign it.

I agree that this is a pretty good idea, considering how confused the new players can be. Also agree with kane-reborn; might work better if incorporated into lvl20 job change--make it like the lvl60 one where you have to help Roumen and Elderine, except you can actually heal them if you're a cleric. One thing I don't know is if OS can actually do it.
It would also be nice if they had something for production skills too.

something for production skills would be pretty good too...didn't have a clue how to use them when i first started

having it in the lvl 20 quest would be good as well that way they have some personal experience... maybe a gm will see this and like it enough to pass it on :P
