i have decided to bestow the strongest weapon in the game to whom deserves it. i am hosting a tournament, in which the winner will receive a statted, +9 HG axe. listen closely to the rules:

- If you own a fighter HG axe/2h you are NOT allowed to participate PERIOD.
- you are not allowed to BORROW a HG axe/2h and use it during this tournament.
- Absolutely no critical suits
- weapon skins ARE NOT allowed.
- Absolutely no charms what so ever.
- Absolutely no scrolls.
- Absolutely no pots.
- Absolutely no cs pots.
- Absolutely no mighty pots.
- Absolutely no buffs
- All pets are allowed.
- Extenders are a must, however if you feel like you can compete without them you are welcome to.
- Gear +0 or +9 is all allowed.
- Weapon switching is NOT allowed.
- A stun fail resets the fight.
- Fail to use stun the 2nd time around will result in 1 loss.
- No HP stones.
- Must use Vitality.
- First to 5 kills wins.
- I am the final judge for everything. i reserve the right to cancel the tournament at any time.


Each player is allowed one warning per round. If they break a rule stated above the fight will rest. If they break the same rule or another rule again it will be considered a forfeit. So if a fight just started and a player broke a rule he will be warned. If another rule is broken the fight will automatically go to 1-0. For each time they break a rule from then on another loss is added. So if they break a rule for a 3rd time the fight goes to 2-0 and so on and so forth.

There are only TWO brackets, lvls 90-94 and lvls 95-105. the winners of each bracket will then face each other under my own rules (obviously the 95-105 will be handicapped to be equal) and the winner shall receive my Hellgait axe.

well you could make ppl use hypercam and make a quick 5 sec video of them scrolling through there sc bag inv after the fight is over and if some1 fails to do it they are disqualified o= and i might join (: tho ima get banged from behind

you never know until you try. if you get far in the tournament and still lose, others will recognize you having some skill despite a non pvp build.

there is no true way to judge if you have charms. however, if someone does cry them, i have a strong test to prove/disprove them. i may alter the rule once again to have everyone show me their armours and weapon before a match.

Ah well see if its to find the "best pvp" fighter, then they should be able to do it without any sc as well. After all, if youre only the best because you have all this sc, then its not really you thats the best. Its the sc.

And the sc bag, if they have charms already on, it would be in their "limited time list" for active sc items.

Lol sorry to point it out and sorry I just seem to be complaining, dun get me wrong. Just seems every time someone does something like this, people try to cheat and find ways. And this is a HG too, so darn right ppl are gonna try to cheat.

eh, theres a point to cheating for something and at least having some dignity. if youre going to cheat, and get caught, youll be heavily ridiculed. and like nessa said, there are ways to test a charm, fighters that level know what the defense range should and shouldnt be, and damage range etc. if someones cheating, itll be figured out.

Meh nana, I dont really agree with the rules you put in, especially regarding stuns and missing them...

If someone builds a dex fighter for Aim/Eva , your whole " fail stun restarts" well your killing off an entire aspect of a build. Some people rely on a him aim or high eva as a part of thier build, what your doing there is taking that away from them. If a dev or stun gets missed, hows that the fault of the person who avoided it?

"Must use vitality" well now why? I can pvp fine without it, in fact its contrary to my secific char. I rely on high def, not dmg. But by telling me how I must play my char contrary to its build... your again making this about Str fighters, not def or eva.

" Must use stun the second time around" ... what if I want to wait for a perfect setup for skill spam.. and if Im required to fire off dev the second its cooled down and it throws off my chain.. That doesnt seem very right to me personally. The rest of the rules are fine, but your ideas here in some parts are killing peoples different ideas of PvP and only accomadating what YOU think a fighter should be.

So yeah after seeing that, Im not bothering.

theres a difference between a fail and a missed stun. missed stuns are allowed. failure to cast devastate is allowed. fail stuns, however, are not. you must use vitality simply because what i am giving away is an axe and not a shield. this isnt a defense war, and if you think you can win by using epic END you are gravely mistaken in the first place. while i want you to participate, its entirely up to me as far as rules. the rules are very straightforward and have been amended several times to accommodate the whine factor. however, you will use vitality before the duel.

I honestly don't think that fail stun should reset the match in anyway. Fail stun IS NOT a bug like most fighters think. The level 55 Swing Set was implemented to put it out there like "BAM IN YO FACE". Devastate is meant to fail as to not be too overpowering in PvP. Don't want a stun fail grab a swing set.

Yeah plus fear fails. I bet archer snare can fail, and we know their poisons can fail, even the skills built just to poison. Stun failing is a fail safe to balance :P

Tho from what it looks like, looks like Nana is trying to set it up kinda like Lance fighting. You get 1 main shot (the stun). Plus it makes for a nice start thing. You knwo you count down and oyu have thos eppl who always start early or w/e. Hvaing both stun, and requiring the stun to stick (or at least dev, tho.. if a stun on dev doesnt stick thats kinda losing the point) then they got that dev cd to be the start countdown.

Or maybe Nana should just have them go in FBZ, and stun both of them, and when NANA'S stun wears out is when they can start xD And since its like what no pots/stones/healinganythings, they can just use the 1 hp stone to recover from the hit of Nana.

The rules aren't complicated, as for an Apoline Classic its kinda got me rofl since the stun fail reset was put there because back then people thought stun fail was a bug. Now we know its not a bug people, some people can't accept the fact that [hey my stun might fail and I might die]. That's just like a critting chance, a person with a complete lisc with an extra 5% crit on an axe and person without. Apoline Classic rules were made to overcome "some bugs" which turns out they aint be bug nomo home skillet.

When you hold competitions like this, dont get mad when people just want it to be as fair as possible. Whoever wins like that, will truly be great. :P Tho Im predicting if I try to compete Ill prolly either be put up against someone strong first, or ill get knocked out soon by a strong person. Would you feel robbed if you were the one to lose due to that? I sure as hell would be. If you're gonna say it's a miss while they're stacking, you can very well tell the damage between a normal swing and a devastation lol. As for comparring to critting chance, that's why it's best out of 5 because sometimes you crit more often than others. You don't see stun failure that often, unless you're just having an unlucky day. Would be wrong to just try and come up with something just for the sake of an arguement, considering most of the end game pvp fighters or even people who were always in battle grounds watching the "top fighters" 1v1 eachother should know that this is how it's always been done.

If anyone actually pvp'd as a fighter on a daily basis and knows the game and skill of a fighter very well at cap level, they'd know that this is the best way and most fair way to have it with an ending result.

But, what it really comes down to is... This is Nana's event.. The rules either go as she wants it or doesn't go at all. Which I hope it does go, would be pretty awesome and some lucky fellow could obtain the epic damage of Nubjizz.

I believe Nana stated that those with 2h/axe helgaits were not able to compete, meaning those with helgait 1h and shields are completely eligible to enter. As far as I know bladenight has a 1h and shield and he uses a tbk in our 1v1's while I use a hg.

yea, lots of good competitors, not a whole lot, just enough. after the annoyances slowed down a bit it got better. only one charmer which was good. some say it wasnt fair, but you do what you can to balance the char's, it wasnt a tourney on who was the highest level, it was to see who the best fighter is, skill for skill (that doesnt already own a hg axe/2h). with that said, i fought with the best, and am honored to win.
