I think the guild tourney should be extended to an hour and the cap for the amount of points to win is 2500 points. I think the 5 flags for 5 minutes way of victory is good.

The gameplay itself is real fun, OS did an awesome job on the guild tourney ^^ just the time that it lasts kinda sucks

I dont know if you can do this but inter-server guild tourney would be amazing.

i think inter-server guild tournament is the best way to go...t his way they can keep the price at 10g and im betting most guilds would still join from each server.....OS ideas are so weak...they should take a page from console games

the problem with inter-server guild tourn.s is that it's impossible because each server opperates independtly and is by no means connected to any of the other servers (besides the fact that they run on the same software).

also not all servers have the same stats (yes epith, we know you guys got the uber stat boost ._.) so it wont be even anyway.

Weak huh?

Our ideas are much more creative than you'd think. Whether they get implemented or not is a different story.

What's been brought up here is a concept we've loosely called "server wars", which was an idea we had shortly after the game was launched.

Again, it's not easy the get what we want implemented.

At first, I thought the GT (what I am going to use for short because typing it out every single time is annoying), was a bad idea, because I thought it was basically going to be a series of guild wars. But! Seeing as how its an actual game..

I now think its a wonderful idea. Its a capture the flag no? That seems pretty darn fun.

However, I do think some major modifications need to be made. Forgive me for linking, but there is a thread HERE (http://www.outspark.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2709557&postcount=1) that states a lot of the information many who haven't gone in might need use of. Based off of those facts and from what I heard from guildies who were in there watching and telling the guild about it..

First of all, and I think the most important point to change, is the time. 10 minutes per round of capture the flag is just not enough. Imagine if it were real life. You'd prolly get halfway to the flag in that time (I understand its not real life but how much fun would you have playing a game of Red Rover if the game ended when you got halfway). So the time needs to be adjusted. I think 45 minutes would be too long (unless the map is just huge but that will be pointed out later), but 30 minutes should be good enough. It assures that everyone has enough time to not only attempt to get the flag, but to think of a quick plan and try again.

The price for GT is a bit high. 10g just seems like a kick in the rear, and many of the lower guilds cant even afford to enter (because trust me, I know some lv 70's who have never had more than a few gold at one time, and often are looking more to fund Academy or get a bit better gears). Even 7 or 8g would be a bit more palatable than a big whopping 10g. Tho I do understand where its going for, and the prize is a ton of "Rama pots" (which if you didnt know are like suped up STR pots they add dmg/mdmg).

But these are all points already brought up, I wanna attend some of the other things I noticed.

My guildies pointed out that there was something.. they could not talk in public chat? Is this true? Inside the GT? If so, I think its a WONDERFUL idea. It cuts down on ALL the trash talking by preventing them from talking to each other. Each guild is then left to talk in their own guild chat. I would say turn whisper off too, but that's going overboard. But think, if someone wanted to trash talk, they would have to, 1) stop playing, 2) find the person or remember their name word for word, 3) attempt to whisper them, 4) if they got it right, actually whisper them. I think by then their guild would be telling them to hurry up, get up, and help out. lol. So turning off public chat in there is a great idea (if its already done, if not, it should be done if it can!!).

Can anyone elaborate on the Observers? (IE if you observed, did the players playing see you, could you go where they could or were you only allowed in a certain area, etc, etc), and also if people playing it could say if they saw observers or whatnot. Thats a kinda blurry part for me and Id like to know, because I sure would like to watch.
