T5 decomps scamming in shops

I have seen this alot lately. One month ago I was lucky to find one person trying to pass off another tier for tier 5 but lately is it all over.

In Uruga alone I found 6 shops trying to pass off tier 1 decomp skill as tier 5. Some of the people doing this had honest shops no less then 4 weeks ago. Now they are trying to sell t1s for 800s to a 1g.

Now I know alot of people will say " people should watch what they buy ". The problem is that tier 1 decomps are named so funny that unless you look it up ( like with fiesta wiki ) you would not have a clue what tier that skill is.

A simple fix would be to place the tier of the skill on the skill itself like the other ones are.

The reason why I am posting is because I seen someone bragging how they sold a t1 for 1g today. They seen nothing wrong with scamming someone and thought it was funny to do so.

Is this what Apoline's server is coming to? Lately the scammer population has been growing and if something is not done it will only get worse.

If they have T1 items in a shop, yet advertise they are T5, simply SS it (preferably whit your cursor over the t1 skill so they can see) and get a ss of the misleading title.
Also if oyu see someone shouting how they scammed someone I suppose thats reportable too, but idk. I know misleading shop titles purposefully trying to scam you can report

The false advertising is a bannable offence. A LOOONG time ago when they were trying to pass off the fighter's vit skill as a production skill in Eld (it was happening quite a bit), I watched a GM poof a shop, he actually invited other players to watch (prolly in fun, and as a warning to not do this). But, yes, you should always be aware of what you purchase. <333 -val

Gosh, I remember that. I thought they were all idiots because they didn't know the difference between the Vitality (ftr) and the Vitality Scroll recipe that Nina sold.

I guess not everyone educates themselves.

I think OS needs to add what tier each recipe goes to. Like: "Precious Pledge Decomp (T5)"

I agree to a certain degree. But if there are measures that can be taken to reduce it, then they should be taken.

Why not just ask OS to put the tiers from 1-5 on all production skills as on scrolls and pots and stones! On all those it says "Elrue T5" But on Decomp and Comp it says nothing. Someone message someone here like serric or someone else to talk to the staff about fixing this by puting "T" on all production skills like this "Chewy meat T3" it will make it easier for everyone thats buying decomp and comp production skills.

I hope you dont mean by me, because I dont sell Tier 1-2-3 Production Skills.

I only sell Legit t4/5 Production scrolls and I always refund if you havepurchased a wrong one.

unfornanuatly u can sel items for any price. but u can bann them because they falsely avdertise (if they say t5 decomp scrolls) and the people tht brag about it r obnaxious just telll every1 their a scammer.

I feel that its up to you guys to do your homework on your production skills anyway. its no since of crying about getting punked in sale shops if u failed to see what the recipes actually called. Well, as I see it- a lot of the people in Fiesta are uneducated about a lot of things.

+ Most don't know to use forums.
+ Most don't know alot of the mechanics of the game- even with the tool tips and the new quests for beginners to educate them how to run a few things.

Often times, people are way too quick to condemn someone as a "n00b" because they don't know the answer to something. They either make an incorrect comment that sounds stupid, or they ask a question we all take for granted.

Every so often I come across someone who has no idea how free-stats work. I was once there and I know it was confusing as hell for me, so I try to help them out. Explain what each stat empowers, what popular builds are, and tell them it's their choice to decide where they want to go.

=3 I pay special attention to little baby clerics I'm helping. I want them to grow up with the right knowledge. Like press 3 and Heal and not 4 and Bash (well, that's my hot key, but you get the general idea).

humm I am wondering how many know to look up this info on a wiki site? Looks to me like a person can not do his homework when the book is located in another state in another school on another planet lol.

As I said when I started this thread most people don't know to look up the info on wiki that is why people are being scammed. As I said in when I opened this thread putting the tier on the skill would keep the scamming down. Fixing the names to match would have been nice also but we can not ask for to much here.

Telling people " Dont be a dummy when it comes yo money " is like me asking you to fix a space station and telling you don't be dumb read the manual. Not only do I not give you a manual but I don't tell you where to find one.

In the end this comes down to new members on this game. New players are the ones that will get scammed. New players are the ones that will quit and in the end all you will have is old players remaking chars.

I am glad some people remember what it is like to be new on an MMO. I am glad there is still people like Takimi on this game that still take time to help new players. I have seen less people helping on fiesta and more people insulting new players lately. How long will this game last with lvl 100 godly's pvping each other and no new blood in the game?
