3. The use of cash shop items during match times should be suspended. This includes mounts and charms.
After experiencing the guild tournament, both as a participant and a spectator, I disagree about suspending cash shop mounts. I figured I should open up a discussion on it to see what other people think.
The map is huge. 5 bases that far apart spreads a guild out pretty thin. If my guild members at a base on the other side of the map need my help, I want to be able to get to them - and fast. I also want to be able to slip out of a fight to go grab an unguarded flag, and fast. Having only 30 minutes, I don't think we have enough time to do all of that running on foot. And while it might make sense to use t3-t5 speed scrolls if mounts weren't allowed, there's no use... not with all the mages purging/buff stealing and all the holy knights purging. It's too expensive. I don't know about other servers, but on Teva t3/t4 speed scrolls cost 60-70s+. If my guild is going to cough up 10 gold to participate in something, I want to spend most of that 30 minutes playing it - not walking around, very slowly.
Granted, the other side of this is that it'd force guilds to staff bases better. If you knew that you'd be able to get little to no assistance at a base, you'd make sure that the people there could hold their own. But what's the use if 20 people come charging at your 5-man base? There's no holding up against that, and without mounts, there'd be no way to get reinforcements there in time... or to get those 5 people to retreat.
Sure it'd stink to have a hobby while everyone else has a dragon or pegasus or raccoon. But hobby people could be staffing bases, and at least they can know that help will get to them quickly if/when they need it.
That's my two cents, at least.
