What's the problem?

There has been one tournament so far,very few guilds participated.
What do you think is the cause?

Welllllll theres a real answer, problem is, most people get all huffy when they hear it.

On our server, the real answer is, "why bother". When the only 2 other guilds are Rena and Maj, 2 guilds that have locked down helga for months, have massive amouts of sc, its pretty much a waste of time.

10g isnt a big deal, if a guid pools from its members.Tme is ok, not a long event and its on the weekend which is nice.

Really what it comes down to is balancing. Its not a bash on the 'super-powes' of the server, props to them. But thats the reason why we dont bother. In fact,personally I blame OS and OnOsSoft for thier lack of foresight in how this game can unbalance itself soo fast.

If they had made Helga instanced for guilds, then everyone would have a chance to farm gears. Instead they left it open and first come first serve, and once a guild gets a strangle hold on it, well its thiers till they stop doing it.... and tough luck, its ours and you cant have it

So yeah, is not against the powers that be, its more along the lines that any event or content, unless its instanced, is forcing the game to unbalance even further. And anything that they include in the future content-wise, is going to suffer the same problems.

Btw guys,there are 3-5 top guilds right?
You forget something,they don't have spaces reserved,the more guilds register the less the chance for one of them to get in,even if one or 2 got in there are 3-4 more spots.
Also,they aren't able to invite more people in their guild when they get chosen so if they were to make alot of guilds and apply with all it'd be a waste of time.

:< I was really looking forward to the excitement this would bring,I'm too low lvl for this(56) but I'd like to be able to watch or hear ppl talk about it(hype,lol)

Aren't ppl obviously gonna team against the top guilds?There's a grand total of 16 guilds in,dare I say aprox 1000 ppl.Even if you can you don't neccesarily need to kill everyone in sight without thinking.
The teaming will probably not be that bad since they're the higher power and it makes more sense to be on their side so it isn't gonna be unbalanced,this is pretty much your chance at revenge for all those months without a go at helga.

You have to ask yourself,are you in it for the win or honour?

Your ancestors had these things called allies,peace treaties and ambushes.Surely you've learned that much from history books?And in there you get recodnition for winning and your enemies get booed,by your own people.They haven't needed the opinion of their enemy.Why should you?

Honourable people do what's best to promote fairness.They haven't minded going in battle when the odds are against them because they do it for the thrill.They do not demand fairness,they follow their own way and feel good about themseleves for it.


You,are neither.What you are is a person that whines whenever they have to make an extra effort,trapping yourself in the mentality that you can't do anything about it anyway to save yourself from the accusation that you're just lazy,a ninny.
