Worst Dex?

Hey everyone! So in another post I have the discussion came up on which class has better Dex... Archers of course (Or so I am led to believe, and am almost positive is true) have the best Dex, but who has second best? Now of course they all start out equal with 3 Dex points, excluding archer who start with 6 but do certain ones increase more with each lvl than others? Some people have said Mage have 2nd best, others Fighter, some even said Clerics, so what does everyone else think?

P.S. I'm keeping my opinions to myself :3

Archers have the best dex, mages have better dex than fighters, and clerics have the worst dex of all four classes.

does it not depend on their gears im a 46 tanker with tons of dex cuz i decded to try out a dex based kick set whish is working very well for me

Yes it very much depends on what gears you have, I was asking on who gets more naturally, without gears and such.

Fighters have more natural dexterity than mages. Just look at the amount of evasion you get from gears. Fighters get more from gears than mages. I don't think it's that noticeable because a lot of fighters don't value DEX that much and will just try for pure damage. Whereas classes like mages and archers will go for more survivability so hence END/DEX in either build or gear.

What does Dex do besides evasion? I mean... Do the other classes really need Dex?

Fighters got more dex potential but most fighters would rather go with str/end/spr or str/end to me its a fail combo

If you aren't considering gears, mages would be the second best, if you're including gears, a fighter with a shield would win. NOTE : Shields do not give evasion, but can give dex, which does.

it is sorry I guess I deserver the grammer hammer and fighters are second best in dex potential overall get a full dex mage and fighter and give em max dex stuff and see what happens not mention job change wise Knights do get more dex o.o

I think in order of natural dex should be: Archer> Fighter > Cleric > Mage

i was gonna say clerics second but i don't know if it's natural dex or not. I use a LOT of dex gear but have no dex in my build....

so i'm just confused now.

This is correct.

- Archers on top for obvious reasons... *Cough*Dex is their main stat*Cough*
- Fighters come in second because Dex is a good stat for fighters, second to End.
- Mage is in last because it's supposed to be the squishiest class. They can't be squishy if they're evading every attack.
- And Clerics just fall between Fighter and Mage.
