Bugged parties

My guildies and I formed a party ahead of time. When we warped into the map our parties were bugged. It looked as if everyone wasn't on the same map you were. Everyone in my party and guild had that problem. Repartying did nothing. Not sure if it was designed that way but partying was pointless since the only use would have been for the chat. Would have been nice to see where your other party members were on the map along with getting party buffs.
