Hey all
I am 1 of the many winner of the coat of arms =D

Since recieving the spinning shield with wings myself... all I see is people complain how ugly the thing is, and how it doesnt boost enough stats.

This thread is for everyone to contribute their oppinion of the new pet.

the 3 stat boost isn't what I expected, especially after reading GM's enthausiastic comments on people guessing what the coat could be.
However a sever pvp battle which can only be accessed with this coat seems intresting, unfortunally I'm not into PVP so I'm not really happy with this coat.

Teva -- Red with a Gold Dragon
Bijou -- Green with a Gold Dragon
Apoline -- Blue with a Gold Dragon
Epith -- Yellow with a Red Dragon
Cypion -- Steel with a Red Dragon
Legel -- Orange(Light?) with a Red Dragon

I wish we had gotten the red one ): I wanted it to match my manthong

And yeah the 3 stat boost isnt all that.. I was hoping for +5 stat.

Dont get me wrong tho, its wonderfully designed and very pleasing to watch! (tho the wings keep slapping me in the face). I love the way the actual shield is designed and I LOVE the dragon in the center. Im a dragon in the zodiac so its like, lil glee that theres a dragon on it. Tho D: if it were green or steel would be more fitting for me if were talking about zodiac.

I love it personally. Blue is my favorite color and Dragons are my favorite mythological creature. The red one is nice but I still think Apoline got the best one. As for the stat bonus, I know +3 isn't a lot but I look at it like how some look at valentine event crowns. It's an event item that will most likely not ever be released again and only a select few can say they own. I was always jealous of my seasoned guildies who get to wear there crown as a mark of how long they've been playing and such. Now I have something for myself.

My only issue is they seem to be really big(I haven't gotten mine yet, re-downloading the game) so maybe if they could shrink it a bit. Other than that I like it.

Its ugly. I won one. Wasn't even trying. What did I do to win it? lol trying to find the rules. My alt won it and not my main thats how little was trying >.<

Back to the pet. Aside from it not being in the color I want (which Im sure Ill learn to love the blue), I actually have grown to like it in the few hours Ive had it (well I got it RIGHT after maintenance so maybe "few hours" isnt right). As for people saying its "too big", I dont think its too big at all. The shield itself is just the right size. I love it like that. The only problem I have are with those giant wings that slap me in the face. Lol Its not even too bad, just hard to get a good SS without half a wing sticking out of my eye.

As for the +3 well... I was honestly hoping for +5 but, since its perm, I guess +3 is still good. Its better than wedding pets, and I was kinda getting tired of those anyway.

I gotta give them credit for having different colors for different servers though HAHA, at least they put SOME thought into it.

Stay logged in for 15 days- the top 500 people in each server with the most log-in time on ONE character (if you got the list on two characters for your account, it went to the one with the most time) recieved a Coin of Teva- for which they redeemed at Guard Captain Shutian (Not Guild Captain, lawl) for the Pet.

There's a list still up in the announcements if you are eligible.

Well honestly Ive learned to love it (even tho still, I would have preferred red for our server xD Im just bein picky tho).

And, if you think this isnt worth 15 days of nonstop login, then why did you even try? If its so useless by god dont get it. But I bet you will, and I bet youll keep it, and months later, when server vs server comes out, youll be flaunting it with pride.

Sheesh when you guys say "not worth 15 days of nonstop login" thats to you. Lol alot of the people I know who got it, were always logged on anyway, and so they just made a mental note not to logout for the night, or logout for a bathroom break, or w/e.

They can`t give free +5 pets to 500 people per server, haha ^^U

Well first of all 500 people or no, they have 2 weeks to get it. Logic says not all 500 will do this within the two weeks. Also, the level limit is 50+ for the pet. Logic also says not all 500 people were level 50 or above.

So logically, there isnt a total of 500 people who have actually gotten the pet, and are able to put it to use (tho its a great stimulation to hit 50 Id say).

+5 would have been more pleasing, yes, but still +3 makes me wear it more if only because its higher than +2 >.>

just to correct you logically one of the requirements to claim the coin of teva rewards was lvl 50+...
so all players who were illegible for the rewards taht was under lvl 50 was not added to the list of the top 500...

and just to boost an extra 2 stats on all the pets isnt a hassle i dont believe =\
its all about will os staff approve it D:

I think it should be a bit smaller and I wish we'd been given the choice to select which colour we want in the quest reward thing rather than giving each server their own colour.

I'm quite dissatisfied with the my green colour. The +3 stats aren't that great either, but oh well.

This server vs server PvP content I'm not much hyped up about if it's restricted to the winners of the event only even though I won it on two characters. (on two different accounts)

It's not. It'll be open to anyone. The coats are like the flag of thier country troops would take to war with them. That's what silky said in another post in general section x.o
