A new project has yet again been set in motion, but something Fiesta players have never seen before. "THE 9TH", a story inspired by Tim Burton's "9" movie, is now coming to Fiesta.

To ensure that the casting process is fair and legitimate, all sign-up records are combined and the cast is randomly picked by the computer generator. We do this to ensure that there is no favoritism / cheating in the casting process and to give everyone an equal chance.

Because of previous instances in which one player would sign-up several times with each of his / her characters, we have now limited the sign up process to 1 character per player. You can choose any class or level range; we do not restrict roles based on looks or level. Spam-sign ups are not accepted and will be deleted off the database prior to the cast selection.

Because this project requires you to give us a few simple private details (e-mail, name and time zone) we declare that players below the age of 18 have asked for permission of parents or guardian by signing up to the project.

We do not share the roles available for this project, due to prior experience where players would demand a role in order for them to support the project. Do NOT sign up if you can NOT accept a role that is given to you.

After you have been selected as a cast member you will receive an e-mail with information about your role. This information is confidential and sharing it will conclude with the immediate dismissal of your addition to the cast.

The reason EK2 has not been released yet, is because we're still pushing the project. We recorded a lot of ingame footage and did a lot of 3D shots. The official Trailer WILL be released very soon, but as for the final project we're looking at a release date close to December.

It's rather difficult to do a lot of the things that we've done in the movie, and hopefully people will appreciate the fact that we're spending countless hours on the computer, programming, modeling, editing, colorizing, etc for this project.

SOMETIMES however, you need a breeze of fresh air... it's very hard to work on a project for over 5 months and get the motivation to keep pushing it, knowing that you're not getting paid for it. That's the reason why it's not released YET.

Please do not misunderstand however, we are DEFINITELY releasing Epith's Knight 2 at some point. Although I can not give you a clear date of when it'll be ready, I can tell you that we are constantly finishing more recordings and shots for the movie and never stop working on it. Another reason why it's not out yet is because it has a LOT of 3D shots, meaning they are created outside of the game using 3D software. We remodel or modify the models and rig them, animate them, render it out, send it to post-production, colorize it, composite it.... it's a long process and to tell you the truth, at this point I'm the only one working on this together with Centrix. So I hope you can understand =)

Anyways, back to this project. We've planned this out at the same time when we were starting to do Epith's Knight 2, so we've been getting ready to do this project for a while now. Who knows, maybe we'll manage to release them at the same time even.

It everytime got delayed for a bilion reasons, some not being our fault. Its as if the universe doesnt want us to make the movie. BUT WE WILL NOT FALL!! (lol) We will wait till the evil period is over.

There will be a schedule to which you are required to stick, HOWEVER it is based on information you give us such as: "Possible days, best times, problems, etc" so the schedule should work out for every participant. In addition we're very open about possible changes in recording times, if we're notified in advance =)

There is no server that we're not shooting on. All of them are fully utilized.

Well you can send in an e-mail, but it won't be added to the database of sign-ups until the official sign-up's start, which means you'd have to send it in twice D: sorry for the inconvenience, but we're setting up an automatic database that will allow us to easily access the information you are sending in.

The reason why it can not start yet, is because there's lots of set-up required for this project. We're just about 2/3 done with everything, but we need to run more test.

There is going to be a Beta Run of it (that you can watch on uStream) before the actual recording starts. More information on that will follow :)

Important:

This is just to ensure all of you understand how the sign-up works. All of you will go to 9th.censtudios.com on the 1st of November. Instead of the Enter page you will have 2 buttons, one leading you to the main page, while one leads you the sign-ups.

Once you get into the sign-ups you will be asked to confirm a few basic rules and regulations which you automatically agree upon when you sign-up for this project.

After that you will go to the FORM page which basically means all you have to do is fill it out, send it off and you have officially signed-up. Make sure that when you include your screenshots, they are uploaded somewhere like imageshack.us or photobucket.

Once you've done that and you have entered the race, you will be automatically added to a database in which a random algorithm pics entries which have ALL information in them. Once you have been selected you'll be automatically sent an e-mail that confirms that you were picked. The e-mail will contain further information.

If you require more information, please press the 1 x 1 pixel button on the far east side just below the form in which you fill in text. Just kidding XD e-mail me to hookshot@censtudios.com

For everyone on the OUTSPARK servers, this project is also recorded on Gamigo, High-Five Entertainment and Optic Communication; thus make SURE you select Outspark for Game-Service.

Note: Every day the program will pick 1 person from the database, meaning there is a total cast of 15 players that will be selected for this project. If you are NOT selected on the day you sign-up it doesn't mean you are rejected. You can STILL be selected on any of the other 14 days.

This makes the process 100% and 100% legit to all players.

SIGN-UPs will officially stop on the 15th of Novemeber!

Important Note for FIREFOX Users:

www.censtudios.com has recently had a problem with a script that was added by one of our adverticement partners, which Google found to be dangerous and harmful. If you have not recently gone to censtudios.com using Firefox you will see that Firefox automatically tries to block that site and therefor stop you from entering.

We have already dispatched an e-mail to google, but like any big cooperation it will take some time before they remove the site from their list.

This means that in order to sign-up you will have to manually turn off "Tell me if the site I'm visiting is a suspected attack site." You will find this by going to:

Tools > Options > Security > "Tell me if the site I'm visiting is a suspected attack site"

All you have to do, is uncheck it when you visit 9th.censtudios.com, fill out the form, press submit and you can go back and turn your blocking on again if you wish. We are hoping that by tomorrow, Google will have fixed this issue, but we can't confirm so this is just a heads up to all Firefox Users (which is the vast majority)

For security purposes you have to use the Flash Form to sign-up which requires you have to Macromedia Flash installed with your internet browser. It's completely free and 99% of all browsers have it noweverdays. You should not have an issue with the sign-ups.

If you are suggesting that the system is not randomized I can assure you it is. It's a flash based algorithm that picks at RANDOM and if someone has been picked they are deleted from the remaining choices. So if it seems like that, it's pure coincidence.

You won't receive an e-mail until all sign-ups are over. If you won, you will receive an e-mail with more info. If you didn't get a major part you'll be informed about possible other roles.

Don't worry everyone, there's still plenty of spots that need filling. I'm proud to say though this project has 59 sign-ups on Outspark alone, so far. That's more than I actually expected to I'm happy people like the idea of this project.

A little more complex than that XD but ehm.... yeah.
It's a Flash script that picks at random. Once someone is picked from the database, he's removed from that one, and placed in the Official Cast Database. Each day only 1 player is picked.

That's how it works.

NOTE FOR SIGN-UPS per EMAIL:
Please only use this when you can NOT get the Flash Form to work out for you. We spend a lot of time making it as easy as possible for everyone. If you send in your stuff I have to manually add you to a MYSQL database which takes time. Absolutely do NOT sign-up multiple characters to this event. We want to make it fair to all players and every entry is handled on a individual bases. If you sign-up with more than one character using the same SparkID you will automatically be deleted from the database. This is to ensure that you can't increase your chances of being selected. It's a shame to see a lot of people trying to do that. I've had to go to through several cases personally to confirm, and had to remove some people from the database because of it.
If you did not sign-up multiple character names on one SparkID you do not have to worry.
For people that sign-ed up with one character and the same SparkID more than once, the database doesn't allow for multiple sign-ups so you will still only have done 1 entry, so no worries there you won't be removed if you did it by accident or not. As for the e-mails.... I added everyone today and I have no more current e-mails that are not in the database yet, however I WILL remove you from the database if you send in an e-mail AND you used the online form. It's just another way of trying to cheat and we are making this 100% legit to all players.

If you own PERMANENT items you can wear them. We only ask you do NOT put on the once that will expire. Also, I'm keen to see more fighter and archer characters recently signed up too so hopefully we'll have a very diverse cast ;)
And even if we don't I'm still really looking forward to working with all of you. I think we'll have a lot of fun and a great time.

So I was at the mall today when the freakiest thing happened. A girl randomly walks up to me and asks me "Sorry are you working at Censtudios?" .... I wasn't sure if I was shocked at the fact that she knew me and I had never seen her, or at the fact that Censtudios has actually become KNOWN in the world. I mean really now... I live in a place so small and isolated, that was the LAST thing I'd expect x_x

So for a moment there, I had the "celebrity" status. And for I think about 3 hours we would just hang out at Barns and Nobles to read books and talk about Fiesta.... apparently she's playing on Legal and Epith, but due to several reasons I'm not posting her name on here.

In any case, I just thought I'd share the random shocker of this year. Apparently she saw my picture on the contact page of 9th.censtudios.com and recognized me from it.... which is both creepy and awesome at the same time....
