I read on FiestaFan that the Asian game has Skill/Stat reset points for sale in the Fiesta Store. I think this needs to be added to the English version ASAP and I felt that the best way to do this is to have a poll to see who here would buy the reset points. Movements work best with support!

Rest assured, they'll come eventually.

I personally wouldn't buy any though. I make my character, and I don't make mistakes with it. Easy as that. Although, the researchers would have a much easier time.

I'd buy it just because even if i dont make mistakes in my buy I tend to get bored and want to experiment and resetting it is alot easier than releveling a new guy. In flyff I'd buy around 20 restats a week just because I wanted to see how much power I could pump out of my blade (which was level 90 until it got hacked mother fu***** hackers) anywho ya always fun to tamper with premade builds.

this is for stat resets not stat purchasing. You still have to do the grinding for your stats but a reset lets you re-assign your current 'free' points. This isn't all that amazing really but I think I would buy a stat reset just to check out some different load outs on my cleric. Would be even cooler if they let you reset your skill points for your specials:D

You have no idea what you are talking about, sorry. Restat/reskill means that you can still only have 115?(5 more for each job change?) max points at level 100. You don't get more points, you get all your points back to 0 to replace in a new spot or whatever.

Lol, love threads where people have to sound like broken records, since people don't understand an inkling of what something is xD

I probably would use it a few times, mostly for the same reasons other have - it's fun to play around and try out some different builds.

i doubt you spent 400$ every week for restats in flyff. ( im sure you where just making the number bigger for dramatic effect.)

but yes i would by a few skill resets so i could mess around with my skills.

State RESET not stat boosting. Best if you read the whole thread and understand the terms before you post silly things like that. Tends to leave egg on ones face. :3

for the most part, the only screw up i made on my mage(level 26) with any points is putting 4 into icebolt cooldown, lol

i think i may have been having too much fun with that when i was like level 6 or something....;)

Yeah seems like a great idea, one I'm sure would definitely be utilized by serious players! I can definitely relate to some here though, I'm wishing I had looked at what increasing the strength on "fury shot" would do before I had added the points (I really thought it would increase the damage/sec. not the initial damage). Guess that's what I get for not looking at the effects before "completing" it!

Oh well, guess it just makes another proponent of the stat/skill reset groupies right? :)

I would because when i first started i wasn't sure what to do with my stats so i ended up messing up my fighter :( lol

I would indeed. But probably only once they updated Trip and Bleed to be useful. Then I'd probably sink some points into those, depending. The other possibility is when they remove the level cap, and more skills for cleric become available. If some of those skills are just plain superior to their low level skills, it makes sense to just reset the early skills as necessary.

For stats.... Perhaps once I hit 60 or so, have 50 Endurance, 25 Spirit and I'm trying to figure out what to boost next, I'll play for a few hours with one stat, then reset to check out the other stats and see what works best empirically. Other than that, I've been perfectly content with my build thus far.

I voted yes because since i was new to the game, I set my stats balanced instead of focusing on what I wanted for my class type. I'll love to be able to reset and replace them how I should be doing it.

what the heck is a stat reset point

falikia
11-18-2007, 07:39 AM
Well its an interesting idea... Never really thought of that before

Well i wouldn't like it if you could buy stat points but if you made it like in uruga and made it like 5 gold or like 100gold or 1 gem then that would be alright because then youwouldn't have people that would have like 1000 extra stat points because it would cost so much...

Unless of course you have those people that play forever on the game

soysauce2rice

If they're tradable, yes. If not, nah.
I played a game where a stat and skill reset point trades for 10mil gold. Now you can buy gold with cash at their shop, but it's cheaper to buy the stat-skill reset point and sell 'em 10mil :o
Profits :]

Well they do have a quest that give you 10 reset point. Now if u got plvled and miss the quest too bad, there is always the cash shops.

That quest was nonexistent three-four years ago when the person would have been the appropriate level.
