Mage build - is it smart?

Ive noticed that 80% of mages seem to have similiar stat builds such as +25 spr and the rest in. However is it smarter to have the gear be high in end and dex, or high in int and spr. Is it better to kill something easily or kill something slowly, but being killed slower. I hope people understand what i mean.

As well is there any mages out there who decided to go rebel and put str in their stat build?

eh 1 of the godliest mages on our server using end/dex gears and he dodges alot its what helps him stay alive in pvp/pve

END/DEX and SPR(if you can afford 3 stats) ftw.

Dthug is correct about it helping a lot in PVE and PVP. While I do understand the reasoning behind INT gear, I like having the extra defense/hp from END gear just in case I don't end up killing something fast enough x.x
