Question for Comunnity Leaders.

So this is a question to you Community Leaders. I was just wondering on how exactly you all became Community leaders? Were you just selected at random? Did you apply for it somewhere some how? What are some of your duties as a CL? I've always just been really curious and wanted to know.

Well, the first batch was selected from the Staff. No nominations or applications that I know of, just from the time, our general friendliness. Of the original few, I'm the only one still active. Some of the others came about from recommendations made by other CL's, some from contests. There were a variety of ways most were chosen, but either way the Staff picks them in the end for the most part.

You weren't breaking rules, and your account won't get deleted, no worries. Only some of us bite, and not hard, usually. ;-) Edit: Why would you like to know?

To elaborate a bit more on what Alden said earlier:

Most of our duties involve answering questions about the game/forums if we can, as well as gathering any information/feedback from you guys and sending it off to the Staff to be passed along.

You'll also see us moderating posts to ensure they adhere to the ToS and Forum rules. Moving threads to appropriate places, or closing/deleting them if requested or if they are violating some rules.

Essentially we try to keep the forums a clean and organized place for people to gather the information they need.

Most of us were chosen due to our knowledge of a particular game, how helpful we are with addressing posts in a positive and polite manner.

To add on to what they mentioned earlier, all of us are players who enjoy the games here and enjoy the community. We were chosen based on our knowledge of the games and the site, but for us this our way of giving back and getting involved in the community.

I think the lovely ladies have pretty much summed it up. We get nothing out of this but a special colored name and the ability to use a custom avatar. We're just as sweet as sugar, and as fiesty as little devils. >=D

Ooooh okay thanks. ^.^ and the reason I wanted to know lordalden is because I'm going to be one someday. ^.^ Jk, but nah like I said I was just curious. :] So thanks for answering back. ^.^
