How come if I have the mats to make 1,000 of something but only wanna make like... 50, I have to click the down arrow 950 times or sit and stare at the screen hoping I can stop EXACTLY after 50? Why is it we can't like TYPE a number into the box for alchemy skills?

Because it's a minor issue and OOS doesn't want to deal with it. You can just tell your character to move and he'll quit the action or put the extra mats in storage.

Well I'm having storage issues as it is *hopes he can get guild storage to work* and that would fall in line of sitting and watching him make something till I had the EXACT ammount I wanted. Point being, why wasn't it done in the FIRST place?

well, theres always the option of only holding the exact number of mats you need to make the items. The rest of course will have to go in storage, but it shouldn't be a problem if you just swap a the rest of the mats for some other junk from your storage until your done with your alchemy.

The second and third posts, read them.I read them, all I did was propose another solution to the problem. I took his storage problems to be problems with too many items in storage, so I proposed swapping mats from his inventory with something already in storage and only hold the exact number of mats needed to make the ammount of the item he needs. Since you can type in the number of an item you want when you split up the stack I figured it'd be easier than either clicking a few hundred times or waiting til the items were made and then stopping production.
Now, if you really want to act this way, I could say YOU ignored him when he said he didn't want to have to sit there and time when his production ended, since your solution proposed that he wait til he had the number of items made that he wanted and then moving his character.

Sorry, you seemed to include putting mats in storage to be part of the moving action. I didn't understand it so I decided not to comment on it. Even if I had understood, I would have elaborated on it with the second part, where I said if his storage was full he could swap mats from his inventory with something else from storage until he was finished.
._. No. You did not read them. krozz likes to cause fights.Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't YOU the one accusing ME of ignoring some one WHILE I WAS POSTING IN HIS THREAD? Doesn't sound like I started that one, so what other fights could you be referring to?

I guess that's as good of an apology as any.
I was saying that instead of reacting that way, when it's obvious that something makes no sense, go back and see how it would. Very few people make completely pointless posts, unless it's on the "post to a million" threads.

Put production in a totally different acccount. Link by guild storage if you don't have 2 pc. Throw raw material in guild storage than the workers geather them and make finish product and sell. Feed money to guild storage, set master to main account.

What exactly does that have to do with making a certain amount at a time?

Sometime I have problems opening it in general. and when I do... its full of stuff. Mostly my own fault for not beign able to sell everything. But my main point in starting this was I have a decomper, I am low on space and try to conserve all that I can. So its annoying when i want to decomp 1 stack and have over that on me. And things tend to get lost when i move them back and forth in my storage and 4 chars...

If you can make 1000 of, say for example stones, and only want to make 50 stones, just start making 1000 and when the counter, counts down to 950 left to produce, hit stop production.
Just a thought, it always seems to work for me, but I am 40 years old and possibly don't know what I'm talking about.
