Well anyway Iv'e done three kingdom quests now and got nothing. I got the chest but no items now and I'm getting just slightly annoyed. Twice I did the gold hill adventure and just now the mara pirates rage one.
Can anyone help me?
I havn't had this problem on my other account :/

i have tried 4 TIMES KQ and i didnt get anything??

Maybe it's a complete glitch?
because I still get stuff from KQ on my cleric (venomkisses)
but my archer(vixlin) doesn't get anything. Not even pots :/
maybe I should poke a GM about it...

There is nothing wrong,Its just luck.Just keep doing the KQ if you want an item badly.It'll possibly give you Elrue/Lix or a High + armor/weapon.

yeah but the thing is Iv'e done three and got NOTHING. IS it ment to do that?
because my cleric always gets somethign even if it's just pots

KQ chests also give fame. so before you complain check your fame

In GH & Mara there is a very high chance of getting an empty. Welcome to beta testing.

Yeah, I posted on one of the many other threads that discussed this same enigma. Even if we just attribute it to "random luck", there's still almost nothing as disappointing as using your hard earned pots/scrolls/stones and 30 minutes (or so) of your life on the Mara KQ just to wind up, literally, empty handed.

And about the "Fame" thing, out of the 3 or 4 times (so far) I've complete Mara KQ, the only thing that I found in the chest was cobwebs, and apparently they have no monetary value because they don't appear in my inventory. :cool:

Anyway, if they DO give fame (as some claim) it should say on the bottom right notice box, "Gained 50 Fame" or something like that, but it never does, nor does my fame change in anyway. But hey, at least, usually, its a fun party experience right?!? :rolleyes:

Hopefully, when Open Beta is done, it will be one of the many improvements our over-worked under-paid GMs will implement! :)

I was getting lots and lots of empty boxes for the past few weeks, too, but the exp was pretty good so that took some of the edge off. But today, the group I was with was really rushing through the GH KQ... and apparently if you open the ice gates before the timer goes red you get better stuff in your treasure box. I was skeptical at first too, but I got a really nice set of earrings from that run.

I always get prizes but It's either: Sp/Hp pots, Elures, Or another Earring. I want my pet :(

i believe i did 11 Mara KQ runs as archer without a reward. As if nothing, not even pots, you can imagine i wasn't happy :p . Then on next two runs got nice xbows

Whew, so after about 7 or so I was starting to lose hope... maybe there's still a chance for me to get something good from Mara before my archer levels up too much! :)

I can't be sure but I don't think that how fast you complete a KQ determines the contents of a box. I've gotten about the same amount of empties from fast and slow KQs. People just sometimes need to believe that they can have control over things they really don't.

I am not so sure it doesn't Garvin. I have been playing since CB1 in mid-June and I have done literally hundreds of KQ's. It may just be a total coincidence, but I have found that if you completed Mara KQ with more than 30 minutes left then the chances of getting a good item greatly increased.

The jury is still out IMO. It may or may not have anything to do with it. But from my experience it sure does seem to. There isn't really a 100% sure way of knowing without a GM either confirming or denying that it does.

I guess that unless we get confirmation from a credible source, or consistent chest rewards for good KQs. that we will never really know.
