Will my stats reset when I change to scout?

I am currently a lvl 29 Neophyte. I wish to become a Scout and have been increasing my POW and MEN to prepare for my next scout class.

But recently I heard that all my stats will reset when I change from Neo to Scout at lvl 45.

If this is the case, then all my previous effort is wasted. As a Neo, I should have increase my Agi so that I can be a good Neo. But I waste my effort to increase my POW & MEN instead.

Pls tell me if this is true.

Yes, your stats reset when you change to Scout. So, yeah, your efforts have been wasted.
