Does Str increase Bash dmg?

Just wondering if Str actually increases Bash dmg to any degree, I've heard conflicting things...

well Str adds to dmg right? And Bash adds additional dmg to your whack dmg, so more str = more whacking dmg = more bash dmg

correct me if I'm wrong, a single lvl of bash gives 50% of your normal atck on a monster

so, if you have a lvl 3 bash you get + 150% dmg

and evry power you add to your bash gives 10%

if you have a lvl 2 bash(5 powered) it gives 200% dmg

bash damage is a constant value, modified only by empowerments, ie it does a fixed amount of damage according to the skill description. adding strength increases your base damage, which you will notice changing if you equip items that add more strength, or when you add points to your strength. pay attention to your base damage in the character window as you add strength and you will know what i am referring to. you can also pay a visit to the wiki located on fiestafan @ http://www.fiestafan.com/wiki/Cleric_Guides to read more.
